Looks great but I really don't want to buy into another line and scale, I already bought way into the smaller Bandai Side Labor line. Still, I'm looking forward to your take and photos as always.

With how last night's episode ended, I very much believe that's the direction we're heading in. On another note, Routh was FANTASTIC as Superman, as expected. It needs repeated, he is still a brilliant Clark and Supes, the movie around him failed him :(. This seems to have happened with each Superman movie since the Reeve classics, excellent casting, but the movie around the actor is a failure. Routh did as good a job as anyone could have stepping into the classic Reeve Superman shoes. That classic theme gave me a big smile. Also, I'm seeing a lot of people that weren't happy with Conroy's take on Batman, for me personally, I enjoyed it. Of course, his voice in live action was a bit off-putting at first, but then he keeps talking and you just sink in. I liked his Batman, it inverted expectations, and for Kate, will probably be a big deal moving forward.

HYYYYYYYPE! Despite the leak from over a week ago, I'm still excited, RE2 Remake was amazing, and Nemesis is going to be terrifying me once again like he did all those years ago, I'm ready.- 6943 replies

I absolutely loved King of the Monsters, but I'm a massive Godzilla fanboy so every Godzilla movie is fantastic. I'm excited, I need me some King King vs Godzilla reboot action. Also, S.H. MonsterArts when?
-
As azrael already posted, yes. But he's also a continuation of his Returns Superman, which was a continuation of Reeves Superman from Superman 1 and 2. Very sad and somber road for poor Reeves Superman :(. Joker is a dick.

Pretty epic so far, that first two minutes had some fun nods, 89 Batman universe with Alex Knox from the original film, garbage Titans from DC Universe getting a quick nod, and as expected, a nice little quicky cameo from Burt Ward and Ace the Bathound. So as far as spoilers go:

Agreed, 10/10, another extraordinary episode. One episode left, and I can't be more excited.

Looks good to me, I'm in, Taskmaster finally in the MCU is pretty cool, though I'm not super hot on the costume, just give him the skull mask you cowards! I wonder if Bandai will do a Figuarts Widow, Taskmaster and Red Guardian. Also, that Red Guardian outfit looks fantastic. What's the point of this film? To be entertained, I would guess, like most other films. There's no stakes? There weren't in Infinity War either, we knew everyone was coming back in Endgame, still entertaining.

So can I just take some alcohol to this? I have no idea how red got on the underside of the wing, I never noticed this until last night.
-
Are the wings and majority of the body of the 1J painted or are they bare plastic? In the time I've owned this figure I've never noticed some really ugly red paint scratches or something on the underside of the right wing, just next to one of the missile nubs. I want to take some alcohol to it but I don't want to damage it, it's on the underside and can't be seen in any mode so I can live with it if I have to.

I meant for those that can't walk into a shop and get one, without a proxy of some kind, those kinds of deals are hard to cash in on.
-
Looks like Mandrake is nearly out of their DX VF-1J stock, all for the low, low price of 35,000 yen, yikes. I guess if you want one for the holidays, that's the best price you can find it for now, so there you go.

Episode 7, while a bit clunky at times with exposition, is a pretty monumental piece of TV, and within overall Watchmen fiction, a game changer. Once again, this shows ability to blend old and new is unrivaled. This episode will garner strong opinions and emotions, one way or the other, from every single person watching. Wow. I loved it, and am once again ready for another week to go by so I can get another piece of this outstanding puzzle. I never imagined a Watchmen sequel series would be well made in general, deliver a worthwhile sequel to the comic itself, and be one of the best shows on television all at once.

In Before Watchmen: Minutemen, he had a larger role, but nothing that contradicted this episode of the series. Also, you are about right that he was more or less an after thought, he was only really known for being the first masked vigilante within the Watchmen universe, not much else. The series has been brilliant, and agreed, I seriously can't wait for another episode, I find myself pining for Sunday night through the work week, just so I can get another fix.
-
So did you actually watch the episode to get the how he became Hooded Justice instead of just reading about the reveal? It made absolute perfect sense, and within the context of that episode and what led up to the first moment he turned to masked crime fighting, there's zero reason to question the decision. I personally can't applaud the show enough for making a near perfect fusion of the original source material, and this new series and the new characters that have been introduced, it was a brilliant episode of TV. Also, it slightly retconned the questionable, to say the least, character that was Hooded Justice, a supposed white man with that particular costume. As I said, to me, it came off as an incredibly brilliant way of fusing the original source material and the new series. Also, retconning one of Moore's more tone-deaf moments among his already at times, immensely tone-deaf series, it was a well written reveal and episode, with fantastic character development, and it more or less "fixed" one of the issues with the original Minute Men.

The scale makes Hi-Metal R perfect for multiples and army building, it's hard to stop at just a few of the cannon fodder units.

This is EXACTLY what I just did for Rescue. Of course, NY already put a markup on her, and made all the new Endgame figures pay up front, so noble of them. Captain Marvel being TWE means I'll get her in a couple of weeks, easy pass on Cap and MK85, so if I can, I just want a new Iron Spidey.

I think I'm done trying, and probably done with figuarts Marvel in general. I'm pissed, 50 minutes later and not a single figure I wanted, I was also cart jacked at HLJ and NY, I couldn't even get the frakking Mandalorian. I was at choose payment page on NY and nope, items in my cart were no longer available. What a joke, what a complete crap show, and within an hour Rescue will be on eBay for $90+. frakk Bandai, and frakk all this nonsense, I'm done.

There's also the Tamashii trident stands, I bought several sets of those and they're great for multiple figures at once on a single base. I use them for Robot Spirits ANIME Gundam figures, also good for brownie VF-1A and regults in mass numbers. https://www.amazon.com/Bandai-Tamashii-Nations-Trident-Action/dp/B00B8IWJXO/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=tamashii+trident&qid=1573862142&sr=8-3

Oh man, I'm the opposite, I actually really like that aspect. The exploration, for the little bit I got to dive into, was fun. I love "modern" platforming, like the Tomb Raider reboots and yes, Uncharted.- 6943 replies

I thought about this as well, technically one set could go a long way, but I want series accurate Vermillion, so I need a set with TV clusters for each valk. Well I don't need that, but I want it.
