  1. Somehow, some way, this show had a 200 million dollar budget, go figure. Finished Secret Invasion and it was pretty awful overall, easily my least favorite D+ MCU series, far worse then expected. What a waste of money and talent, it was poorly written, it looked really bad, it was painfully dumb and borderline idiotic in it's story beats. Shockingly bad considering this was Jackson's big come back as Fury, what a waste, he came back with a whimper. Maria Hill died for this garbage? And in such a completely underwhelming and forgettable way? Just terrible. I am absolutely positive every revelation and major event from this turd will be forgotten just like Eternals, Disney should be embarrassed, I saw the director is already trying to do damage control on social media. Apparently he won't read the universally awful reviews, what a bold strategy, let's see if it works out for him. Looking behind the scenes I'm a bit baffled, the director was a nobody with little experience, same with the script and screenwriters, why hire such mediocre talent for a show like this? How was so much money spent when it looked so awful? The reshoots and behind the scenes drama must've been intense, this whole thing was just shockingly bad in every way, I've been a shill for most of the D+ shows, I've enjoyed them all, even She Hulk, but this was blatantly awful and a complete disappointment.
  2. Damn I remember that! Twisted Metal 2 was fire! That was the huge ice cream truck boss that had specials like Minion and Warthog or something like that, those were killer games, I always liked the dark, twisted, monkeys-paw like endings, especially Minion.
  3. Caught the first four episodes last night and I'm really enjoying it! I'm glad they didn't take it super seriously and go with the ultra dark vibes from TW Black and the game after, this series is absurd, and I think it works best when tongue is firmly in cheek. Cast is great, you can tell Mackie is having a ton of fun, Neve Campbell is solid and still gorgeous, Rose from Brooklyn 99 is funny, and yes, Samoa Joe/Will Arnett kill it as Sweet Tooth. Though, I'm a bit confused, if I'm remembering right Sweet Tooth was just the ice cream truck, the killer clown was named Needles if I remember right. That's not really an important detail, just seemed a bit odd to me, the series seems to get most other references and lore quite right. One thing I'm bummed about, and I called it when the first trailer dropped, the newest MK movie did the same thing... Pretty fun overall, lots of references and easter eggs, plus if you're familiar with the games several game characters make appearances and set themselves up for next season. Overall I'm enjoying it, it's definitely not going to be everyone's cup of tea, if you're not familiar with the games I feel it will be an even harder sell, but it's a fun show that's fully aware of how insane it's world and characters are. I've been enjoying what I've been seeing.
  4. Yeah I'm going Saturday night to see this and Barbie, double feature, both seem like pretty fun movies.
  5. Yeah that's a desk-bot if I've ever seen one, might need to grab one myself, looks pretty cool.
  6. I'm going to see this and Haunted Mansion this weekend for a fun little double feature, looking forward to it, haven't heard anything but good things from friends and family that have seen it.
  7. Looks awesome! RIP JDF, dude was a legend, I met him a few times and he was always super nice and humble, great guy, he loved his fans and was truly MMPRs Tony Stark, the heart of the whole franchise.
  8. CW's The Flash did it right, Music Meister just makes that happen, they should've cast NPH but oh well. I'm really looking forward to the musical episode, it looks like a ton of fun!
  9. I'm playing Exoprimal right now on Gamepass and honestly, it's really fun, it's a great Gamepass game. Capcom did pretty well, solid gunplay, progression is fine, lots of customization. I usually find anything PvP to be a drag, but you can opt out of PvP for the most part, the PvE is really fun, I can see myself sinking quite a few hours in, leveling up several different suits and grinding out currency for mod upgrades and cosmetics.
  10. Agreed, I've always wanted some decent, collectors Kelvin timeline Trek figures, these look great.
  11. Damn so Riobot and Blitzway, I imagine the Blitzway will be huge and far more expensive like their OG lion Voltron, pilots and light gimmicks etc., Riobot may be the way to go for me, it's looking good so far, I always loved this design.
  12. Looks like Jada will be fleshing their line out far further then Bandai got to with Figuarts, and they may even have a bigger variety of characters then Storm Collectibles, Dee Jay caught my interest.
  13. Got two new brick sets on Prime Day, not LEGO, but really high quality nonetheless. Both officially licensed, really nice sets.
  14. I'm amazed at how long this season has taken to release considering how much content and story they have to cover for the whole series, they've got a loooooong way to go.
  15. Somehow I highly, highly doubt Bandai will bother with a Chogokin Netflix Legendary Defender Voltron, if you want a high-end version of that iteration this may be the only way to go.
  16. I don't even know what Orguss is but that's a cool looking mech, I may grab one. Is this a hero mech or cannon fodder?
  17. I'd like to see a modern War of the Garantuas, that was a fun film, and they eventually crossed over into the Godzilla comics and became part of the TOHO Godzilla comic universe.
  18. TOHO has been tight-lipped on details but it appears it is a retelling of Goji's first appearance, but it's right after WWII instead of in 54.
  19. Damn I'll gladly pay to see this in a theater, Shin Godzilla was fantastic and looked and sounded amazing in an IMAX theater.
  20. Such a shame Andor got such low viewership, Obi-Wan and Book of Boba seemed to have really scared a lot of people away. I get it, comparing Andor, a character that died in a spin-off movie, to god damn Boba Fett and Obi-Wan, it seemed the bigger names would've delivered on the bigger better series but nope, complete opposite, that's absolutely crazy that's the reality of the situation.
  21. I was sort of on board when it was rumored Chris Pratt would be the reboot Indy, I probably would've watched that. As for Dial of Destiny? I haven't seen it yet, I like the Indy films just fine but not enough to go brave the theaters for a new one. Maybe if it gets included at Sunset Station's $5 Tuesday deal, but other then that I'll probably wait for it to release on D+.
  22. That new Godzilla looks beyond epic, I'm totally hyped!
  23. Not quite LEGO but I bought a few third party building sets on sale for Prime Day, they look pretty neat for the price.
  24. If they do a classic FF, like number 6 or 4, and remake it to look like, say, Octopath Traveler 2, I'd be so completely in. If they want their mainline series to devolve into action based non-RPGs so be it, I'll vote with my wallet and not buy them, but they really need to cater to the RPG fans and have some series run alongside the mainline series that are actual RPG games.
