  1. Looks good, but I still have no interest in attempting to collect any MP Cons, just bring on Ironhide and Ratchet! Also, was it confirmed that TT was working on Hound for their next new MP mold? I could have sworn I saw that posted here somewhere, I have my first third party on pre-order, which is FansToys Willys, I would really like to see some painted shots of him, but If Takara is dropping their own Hound, I will probably cancel Willys and go with the official release.
  2. I'd like to see how bad your Snake's face is, unfortunately his face paint apps appear to be all over the place.
  3. The 0S looks good, I liked my old one except for the fact that it slowly fell apart and disintegrated. I'm tempted, but $250 + shipping is a bit steep, Arcadia pricing is rough. If I do get an Arcadia 0 it will be the 0S, nix that doofy armor they just announced, I never got the obsession over big tacky armor that covers up the sleek fighters and battroids, easy pass on that, especially at Arcadia prices.
  4. The suit could definitely use some work, as for the Punisher stuff, I didn't expect brains and blood splattered over every scene he's in, I have the utmost faith in Marvel, season 1 was great and I am more then confident they will do The Punisher justice, I don't think they would attempt to adapt him themselves if they weren't confident they could appease the fans and make the character shine. Also, I really don't want/need blood and guts everywhere, as others have said, if it's up to snuff with season 1's violence, I'd be fine with that, did people actually somehow expect hyper violent over the top crap violence like that second, or uh third, live action Punished movie with the british guy? That was terrible, and not what I'd want to see in any form.
  5. I haven't run into any of these things with my figures, I just received them yesterday and next to my B-Fighters they're my favorite Figuarts. I saw the review where the guy said Cap felt cheap, he must not own any other Figuarts, it feels like the exact same plastic they usually use. Hulk was based on Broly's body, so looking at him you could easily figure out what we'd be getting, a green half naked version of Broly, which is great, and what I wanted. Marvel Legends Hulk having barely one advantage doesn't say much to me, because Marvel Legends still look god awful, my only complaint with either figure is Hulk's faces, they're just not up to snuff in my opinion. I don't notice much gapiness on Cap, he's damn solid, like I said with Hulk, look to Broly, he's too buff to not be cut up the way he is, I still think he's amazing, and I still think these are the best Avengers figures you can get without going down the boring expensive Hot Toys route.
  6. Yeah Ironhide is mine as soon as pre-orders open, Ratchet too when he's announced.
  7. Hulk and Cap look cool. In other news the Bandai MonsterArts line is giving us yet another repaint, though, I can't complain too much, this new Ghidorah is a 2.0 to the original version, which I had and hated because it was a mess of QC issues. This new version has sexier paint, non self destructing wings, improved/actual neck articulation without heads popping off left and right, and some other snazzy little new accessories. I'm getting one, and I'm very glad I caught this news. I was going to order a Mecha King Ghidorah on Tuesday, skipping that now, nothing wrong with Mecha King Ghidorah, I just prefer the original look, I personally think he looks more badass without robot parts, I also I think it's more iconic.
  8. That sucks, he must have eaten one too many bowls of spider webs, very sad news indeed.
  9. This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen, I get the new gimmick now is simple transformation, but literally three steps only seems overboard, that used to be reserved for legends and other tiny scale figures. Doesn't the fun from most Transformers figures come from, you know, transforming them? This is a pretty big figure too, so the simple transformation looks even worse, either it's a truck that just kind of stands up, or it's a bot that just lays face down, either way, that's super, super lame.
  10. My Ebay seller I got my Hulk and Cap from sent me a message saying they'll both be shipping out tomorrow afternoon. I've been monitoring several Figuarts threads/discussions on different sites, it seems NY randomly got more stock last night, HLJ had some more a few weeks back, and apparently AmiAmi had a small second batch of pre-orders. I'd say monitor HLJ today, they seem to get more little pre-orders here and there the day before release then most other sites.
  11. I got to see it this Sunday, easily my favorite MCU movie yet, but then again, I'm a huge fan of the character, Ant-Man has ALWAYS been my favorite Marvel character. I saw the Phase 2 bluray collection popped up recently, I promptly pre-ordered mine, it will look good next to Phase 1 and the tesseract, I'm guessing that's how they're going to do it, each new big Phase box set will come with another infinity stone replica, which I am totally okay with.
  12. I too received my MP-10, and he's pretty damn great, he was worth the wait. In fact, Optimus was so great I decided he needed some allies, so I went a bit overboard and grabbed a few MP cars too. Optimus came with my Figma Snake as well, and he's quite unimpressive unfortunately. Overall I'm very impressed, paint apps are pretty solid on every figure, a few misses here and there, the transformations are fun and intuitive, both forms look incredible on each figure. I've got MP Bluestreak, Smokescreen and Red Alert on the way now, Ironhide was announced so he's mine too, then the inevitable Ratchet re-paint/tool, plus a FanToys Wiilys/Hound...this is getting out of hand...
  13. So I popped over to TFW2005 to check out the other photos a few other people mentioned, and wow, I was immidiately turned off of that site's entire community. I never visited TFW2005, or Seibertron, I only just recently got into MP Transformers, so I went in blind, I didn't know what to expect. I scrolled to the last page of the MP Ironhide thread, then decided to work my way back, I just wanted to see what the mainly Transformers fans thought, and once again, wow. I looked over three pages, within three pages I noted 7 people who all said, "He looks like crap, and not worth the money, I'll be waiting for the KO". Like really? Really? That's such a shitty attitude, what a bunch of children. I get people buy KO Masterpiece figures, some just can't afford all the Takara releases, and Hasbro seems to have issues bringing certain things to the states, KOs can often be the main alternative to those who have a hard time getting Takara releases, and once again, pricing for Takara products can get absurd for some people in certain countries. But this? This was people with lots of posts, and big collections, Hasbro MPs, Takara MPs, third party MPs, lots of money spent on official products, many were located in the US. And yet, they essentially admitted that they are into the figure and mold but are too cheap, lazy, or some backwards combination of the two to give Takara the support they deserve. If you aren't interested in the figure, fine, if it's just not doing it for you or tickling your fancy, fine, if you want to hold out for a third party, once again, fine. But most of these "fans" seem damn childish, they're willing to give money to a-holes who buy up official releases, then as quickly and cheaply as possible reverse-engineer their own version. Once again I get that a lot of people can't/don't have the ability to get all official Takara/hasbro products, but this most certainly didn't seem the case. It seemed like a lot of douche bags, I use this site for pretty much all my toy needs, it seems there's a thread or discussion for everything, and there's lots of different collectors on here with lots of different tastes, never again with another site, I'll just stick to MW...
  14. I really, really can't wait. I need him, then I need Ratchet, badly.
  15. I'm hyped for more Arrow and The Flash. Ollie's new costume is looking good, very New 52, plus he basically admitted he will be going by Green Arrow this season! I'm glad others are catching onto these shows, The Flash in particular. If the DC cinematic universe ends up being a bust, which I still think it absolutely will be, at least we've got the DC TV series to fall back on, there doesn't appear to be any end in sight for these shows.
  16. I can't wait to see it, I've got D-Box tickets for this weekend. Finally my all time favorite Marvel character is getting his own expensive movie, I'm hyped.
  17. Did you not lock down a Hulk and Cap? Just a few days ago HLJ had them both back up, for like, an hour, I was hoping you and the others who initially missed out might have gotten them in that golden hour. Maybe they'll pop back up on HLJ one more time before release.
  18. I still don't get the point of Steam Machines, at all, who are they supposed to be for? Some people say they are for those who want a PC like experience without as much of the hassle, basically ease of use, so a console right? Then some say they are more for tech guys to just have fun with, they are easily modified mini PCs, but they cost an extravagant amount compared to, say, building a PC on New Egg, once again, I get a better deal out of building a PC, and it would cost half the price. I'm still not getting it, I probably never will, it seems like a pointless, expensive middle ground between console and PC gaming. It's like PC gaming minus having an actual functional PC, but you still get pricing that is comparable to standard PC gaming. Yeah I'm lost, I give up, I'm just not seeing the appeal.
  19. I just got a notice that my Figuarts Hulk and Cap will be shipping soon, I'm excited, I haven't gotten a new Figuart in like, a whole week...
  20. I see FanToys Quakwave is getting a re-issue, sadly since I have zero interest in attempting to collect MP cons, there's just not enough of them, this guy is gonna be another pass, nice for everyone else who missed out though.
  21. Can't wait, I already have Starz for several other shows, the return of Ash is just icing on the cake.
  22. Jesus are you serious? I don't want to vent here, but this is too much of a coincidence, my Fett broke in the same spot as yours, plus his left arm is SUPER loose at the shoulder, his cape has bad paint apps all over it, his little head scouter thing on his helmet was broken off in the box, and two of his little belt pouch things are broken off. I already contacted HLJ, but I should have known, I stopped buying Play Arts a while ago, while their prices continue to sky rocket, their s*%# QC is still S%$@, I told myself to never buy another, and yet when the Fett was announced I told myself, just this last one. I'm pretty pissed, hopefully HLJ can help me out, this is rediculous, these licensed figures keep getting more and more expensive, at least his mold is solid, a lot of Play Arts look like garbage in my opinion, especially faces, but Fett looked phenomenal, and he does in person, but damn, step it up Squeenix, this terrible. I've had more breaks in thise line then any other line I've attempted to collect in my life, I'm SERIOSULY glad I didn't order a Vader, who knows what would have been wrong with him.
  23. Well this is interesting news I suppose, an official Hound is pretty awesome, but I literally one week ago pre-ordered a FanToys Willis/Hound. Like others have said, I can't wait to see some prototype pics, I'll compare to what FanToys is doing then go from there I guess.
