A lot of crazy things happening on both Arrow and the Flash, I'm still pretty blown away by how much I enjoy the Flash, I was really skeptical when it was announced. These little breaks are annoying, but I can deal with it, the previews always get me pumped, I still can't believe we're getting Grodd, that's about as ambitious as you can get. I've seen some people complain Ray is eating up too much Arrow time, I disagree however, if he's to be in the spin off I want some solid time with him, plus Brandon Routh incredibly likeable in the role. I'm looking forward to the return of both shows, the three way team up with GA, Flash, and Firestorm looks crazy, and did I see it correctly, was Ollie in a League of Assassins outfit?

I haven't posted in a bit, pretty busy lately, I started a new job right after the New Year so I've been swamped. I've had four packages sitting unopened for a few days now, the latest one arriving last Friday, I figured it was time to open some stuff up. Right off the bat I'm super impressed by Legacy Tigerzord, Broly is insane, and I should've bought MonsterArts Mothra long ago, she cost me more then I wanted to pay, but when you've already got Battra what other option is there? I've still got a lot to open, I'm excited to check out Blue Beet and Guyver! -
Some good looking pics from everyone, it's pretty, but I'm still not feeling one for the price . Maybe I'll check out a 0A/S when they come out, I liked my old 0S except for the whole falling apart thing.

I saw it today after work, I really liked it. I thought it was a fun modern day homage to classic spy films, and an all around well done action film, with surprisingly sleek and intense fight choreography, the R rating ensured there was a healthy dose of violence, including a ridiculous scene in a church. I'll be adding it to my Bluray collection as soon as it comes out, I may even go see it again sometime while it's still in theaters.

I'm still meh on this one, yeah we may never get another 0D, but I'm totally fine not owning one instead of settling on a 300+ dollar toy, it's cool, not that $300 cool, just my opinion. Looking forward to photos though, I'm definitely interested in what they pulled off engineering-wise, particularly in the wing section.

Well, reviews are coming in and they are very positive, I'm in now. I was on the fence, but apparently the film is quite fun and entertaining, and not as dumb as most expected.

Well hot damn, I guess I'll just chill and wait for the official one to be announced. I have zero idea why, but as a kid, I though Ironhide had one of the coolest vehicle modes, he wasn't a sports car, he wasn't sleek, but I just always thought he was really damn cool looking, plus his bot mode is obviously beast.- 17320 replies

Yea I tried watching this, got half way through the first episode, even by amateur or low budget standards, it's pretty damn bad. I loved Street Fighter Assassins Fist, I even loved both seasons of Mortal Kombat Legacy, but this just didn't do it for me, the lead is terrible, the costumes are terrible, the dialogue is terrible, the choreography is near non-existent, it's just all bad unfortunately.

Lots of stuff going on lately since Arrow and Flash both returned. I thought Pied Piper was fairly well done, he obviously has some more business with Team Flash, and I'm fairly certain he will be involved with Cisco eventually becoming Vibe. I've been liking Arrow, Brick is pretty awesome, damn good casting too in my opinion, it's good to see Roy finally taking on some real responsibilities, he's been mostly just getting kicked around since he put his hood on, so more time spent developing him the better. Laurel...is definitely Canary, I mean she's trying. I'm really glad she didn't just suddenly start whooping ass when she put the costume on, she obviously has quite a ways to go. Overall I'm still pumped every week to watch both these shows, lots of interesting stuff is happening, more Rogues are constantly getting introduced, the Wells Reverse Flash storyline is being handled really well, SPEED FORCE was mentioned, Grodd is coming sooner or later, I'm damn impressed with what CW has done, keep it coming.

So I'm not much into Transformers so I'm not really in the know, so I figured I'd ask here, has there been a Masterpiece Ironhide yet, official or third party? I have a TRU Masterpiece Soundwave with all his minions, he's my favorite Con, but I'd also like a Masterpiece of my favorite Autobot which is Ironhide. I've tried to do a bit of searching but as I said Transformers aren't really my thing, I wasn't even sure of the top Third Party names out there, if anyone can dial me in that would be great!- 17320 replies

Birdman, starring Michael Keaton, Oct. 17, 2014

I think the only movie I liked recently more than Birdman was Whiplash, my main question is when is Keaton giving us another Beetlejuice? -

Cool, good to see you got yours. As I mentioned a page or two back, have you been able to move the ankle/foot swivel towards the bottom of the leg? If you look at above the foot, where the double ended ball joint goes into the leg, there's a back and forth joint that I can't get to budge on either leg, maybe you'll fair better. I take it you''ll be getting 18" Striker Eureka too when he releases? I've already got mine on pre-order at the little local store I get all my NECA 18" and 1/4 stuff from. -

I'm getting it for 360, I was going to get a One for Christmas but got a Wii-U instead, I'm glad I did too. REmake was my favorite game in the series, old school zombies, crimson heads, the best selection of BOWs, and in my opinion some of the best bosses in the series. I'm also quite interested in Revelations 2, it sounds promising from most of the early talk, and I think the co-op sounds intriguing.- 6944 replies

Lol sorry, I wasn't trying to rub it in, honestly, I know a lot of people were excited for this release and are now bummed out. This was just my first foray into Bandai pre-ordering, and it was just really weird, I saw how hard people were trying to nab one, refreshing every few seconds and jumping from site to site, I'm just a bit baffled about how out of order and chaotic it is. It's just so damn odd to me, Bandai is missing out on all this money every release, like they don't want it, the pre-order BS coupled with them only churning out enough of these things to make every release feel like finding a gold f$%#@!& ticket, just doesn't seem to make much sense.
-
I can't believe how easily I got my pre-order for one of these, I've never tried to get in on any of Bandai's previous pre-orders because Frontier stuff doesn't interest me, so this was a bit jarring. I decided to grab one of these for someone else, and oddly, the night of the pre-order madness, I casually jumped on here and went to this thread, jumped over to a linked site and just kind of clicked and got one, I guess my timing was perfect, and I got incredibly lucky.

Cherno is quite solid, especially his legs, he's more articulated than Gypsy too, I was pretty pleasantly surprised. Maybe when you get yours you can let me know if you could get the "ankle" swivel to budge, on both legs towards the bottom attached the ball joint on the foot is a back and forth swivel joint that I could not get to budge, it seems it can go back and forth a decent amount too, but I've tried everything from a hair drier to a heat gun and I couldn't loosen the joint on the bottom of either leg up at all. -
I tried watching Agent Carter, I couldn't make it through the first episode though, it was kind of snooze-ville.

Actually I'm pretty sure they are all in the same scale. The 18" in the title of the series is just a rough description of the size of the figure in the box, Gypsy is about 18", but Cherno is roughly 20" which seems to relate to their actual size differences to me, Knifehead is about 20-21" which is also quite fitting as far as scale goes. I'm sure the scale is one of the two you mentioned, or somewhere in the middle, the box makes no mention of scale, and I can't find anything online either.

Even if they do just re-release the original molds in new colors and repaints, I'd be totally fine that, I loved them.

I got one last night, it's for my girlfriend's brother, he sucks and is an ass, so I need some brownie points, other then that this valk does 0 for me personally .

I posted this in the Pacific Rim thread too of course, but 18" Cherno Alpha recently released and I got mine, he's pretty awesome, the lighting is quite impressive. 18" Striker Eureka is next for release, I can't wait for him, hopefully NECA will announce an 18" Crimson Typhoon too so I can have all four of the movie hero mecha. -
I'm not too sure what scale these would be, according to the Pacific Rim Wiki Gypsy Danger was 260ft. tall and Cherno Alpha was 280ft. tall, no gundams for comparison either, sorry.

Well first my 0S renewal fell apart, sold it, sold my SV-51 since I no longer had a 0S, I was ready to pre-order an Arcadia 1J with armor in order to finish off my Vermillion Squad, but then Bandai announced this line. I was really happy with the quality of the original Hi-Metal releases, to the point I liked them as much as my Yamatos, so I figured I'd save some space and money and collect this new line instead. The Yamatos were great, but I just really liked the 1/100 scale, and the Hi-Metals were super clean and accurate for their size, plus this new line has Regults and other human mecha confirmed which is big for me, and knowing Bandai, at a minimum I'm expecting some Regult variants or add-ons.
-
I'd recommend Both Gypsy and Cherno, they look menacing together, I can't wait to get my hands on 18" Striker Eureka.
