If these turn out decent....and they release them as prolifically as they have their goofy SD VF-1s....we can surely expect the fab five and then some....thinking VF-1D and the rest of Vermillion squad...they are already teasing the VF-1J with GBP and they released (or are releasing) a VF-1J Mass Production in their SD lineup.....do I really want to start on a 1/72 line???

Actually, the last 30 minutes or so of TFA was pretty good...the only good parts of the entire movie....I was expecting them to build on that....but nope....they totally wasted everything that could have been good for the remainder of the ST... -
Only good scene in the movie was the obvious homage to this.......and what a missed opportunity.....

I don't mind adding at least one of these oddball scaled 1/72 PT VF-1's to my collection....would be good to see the improvements over the last 1/72.....so I may bite.....PO anywhere?

I was teased this.....smaller scale is totally acceptable.... The new one doesn't look anything like it...lines are too angular on it... Bandai...just give me this in 1/48, 1/55, or 1/60.... Just look at the feet.....is this the 1/72 kidlogic?

OK, I know that this thread is about quitting on collecting.....but I have a 4 year old son who is all about Thomas the Train Wooden Engines.....OMG.....there are so many.....seriously....how can so many engines exist on the frickin' Island of Sodor??!?!?........ Curse you Rev W. Awdry!!! And don't get me started on Paw Patrol!!!

Although I would have preferred the 1/35th Anniversary VF-1J....I'll gladly take a downsized version as long as it looks like that prototype from 2015 and has enough gimmicks to cement itself as the Mother of all VF-1's for a while..... We are due for an update on the VF-1 DX scaled version.....but there is no way it will be the 1/48 version long-term.....if this thing gets released....I expect it to be downsized one more time to 1/60-ish with everything Bandai learns from the larger released squeeze into it..... It's like 2002 all over again and Bandai's still firmly in possession Yamato's mojo!

I was out of it for a bit and come back to see I missed the PO for the Super VF-1A Hikaru....luckily the PO was missing the madness part....grabbed one at AmiAmi... And looks like bandai is going forward with everything they said they would release.....I've said it before those "Display Only" cards may as well just say "Coming Soon".... In Bandai We Trust.....

Not sure and I have no idea where I have them at the moment, but the Document of Macross furokus from a few years ago had some color images of pre-production/concept Macross mecha....but not sure if the two you are referencing may have been two of those included in those furokus....
