    Better late than never! As with the SDFM edition....superimpose your shots with real backgrounds, classic or modern illustrations or cel backgrounds from the actual film!.... The rules....use toys or kits to capture either a specific scene from the DYRL source material or a "re-imagined" version of a scene, then add a background consistent with the scene you are trying to illustrate....have fun! Feel free to also create and add Flashback 2012 scenes! What we have so far...... HMR ElintSeeker + Tenjin Hasegawa Boxart for the ElintSeeker..... HMR SuperOstrich + Tenjin Hasegawa Boxart for the SuperOstrich..... Yamato Max and Millia Q-Raus + DYRL Film Background.....     Thank You sir! I tried to angle this one the best I could, but without the right angle on the Elint to match the original Tenjin illustration...it was tough....if you ever get the chance, I'd like to revisit it using one of your properly posed pics!

    Anyone else receive a shipping confirmation from Flying Mule for the latest SDFM Calibre Wings VF-1's? Seems my VF-1A CF and VF-1J Hikaru are on their way! Really liking these 1/72 VF-1 fighters! Only collecting the cannon release though....wonder if there will be any other variants?

    Cool....if you don't mind...also take a pic of the SDF-1 by itself.....I was thinking of just adding the Misa fig, but I like your idea better....I can try both because why not!

    It's what tends to happen when you compare "most" older versions of something to the latest and greatest releases......pretty sure it will happen to the DX too in a decade or so...maybe sooner....the best thing that can happen to older releases is to become "classic"....I think the original 1/55 has been able to achieve that status....and I'm sure the argument can be made for the Yamato 1/60 V2 as well....

    I want to try the anime mag cover, but that one will take some time to try and get it to look good....lots of layering will be involved.... Maybe an easy one like the IMAI kits.....and the Misa too since she is wearing the same uniform on the boxart as the fig...we'll have to see if she can make the pose....if so, I am sure you can nail it!
