Going forward.....we would all come back to this thread for the next PO night and any future PO nights for ANY Macross-related PO product.... The PO Night thread will be a recycled thread that will open/close with each new Macross product's PO announcement 5. The PO Night thread is mainly for PO that last for "one night only" (mostly Bandai)...however, any Macross PO will be listed here when info becomes available

I had already suggested this to Shawn yesterday along with some other things....so I agree this would help control some of the problem... I would go further and just make a permanent PO Night thread that would be exclusively used on PO nights and not a new PO thread for each release.....if the mods wanted to, they can even go as far as locking and unlocking it as appropriate.....I would say it would be fair to unlock it for each PO night for any new Macross product and then keep it unlocked for a few weeks after.....with only PO related info to be posted, mainly links to sites that list product as it becomes available.... I also think we really should go back to separate topics for each separate Macross toy....as soon as we hear of something new, open a new topic and start posting anything related to it in that topic (minus PO night chatter and links to sales posts).... The problem of having things the way they are now is that the newer toys will always be heavily weighted on the front-end....while info about past releases within the same toy line will get buried 100's of pages back....making searches very difficult...at the moment, I don't even bother searching within the MW site and instead search MW via Google for better results....still, it would be great if searches within the site were more productive...

Bandai DX VF-1D topic....we can either start using this as soon as the VF-1D is released in July 2021 or start posting VF-1D info starting now. Once a new DX VF is announced OR some other new Macross product of interest....someone can open a new topic for it and post info related to that specific item into that new topic thread. NO PO chatter should go into any specific DX or other Macross release's thread...additionally, try to post sales links here sparingly or not at all******. There are several "Item of interest" threads already created...please use them....and if you want info on sales links...please subscribe to them... ******** regarding links to online retailer sales posts******** Pre-release...post links to item availability on the dedicated toy's thread....or the PO thread while it is open/unlocked (2-3 weeks after PO Night)... No worries....if this thread wasn't over 700 pages long perhaps it would not be a big deal. Honestly, I am not sure what the point is in keeping every DX release confined into a single topic thread.....I think the practice started with HMR releases, which is also a mess...if the search function was any good it would be fine, but it is not and when you find the need to research specific info it is not easily done....personally, I would start a new DX VF-1 topic with the VF-1D release and go from there and keep future release topics for any new VF, etc. separate going forward....

Same here.....quit distracting this thread with constant sales posts.....it's "distracting" and you obviously know where they belong and should be posted...once in a while is fine, but you go beyond that fairly regularly
