Hopefully, @TheLoneWolf saved the auction info...but I think there was some mention on what it was. Regardless, it definitely seems to be a prototype of, at minimum, the Jetfire packaging. The way I see it, it is a jigsaw piece to the puzzle that forms the production process for the Jetfire. All that is missing from it is the lack of the stub-nosed valk that was used in the final version. That valk, when/if found....would also be jointly shared with the production process of the ElintSeeker and Super Ostrich.

That is actually pretty cool! I wonder if Matsushiro by this point had already created the mold revision per the specs needed for the Jetfire and just tossed a valk they had lying around just to provide a "boxed visual" as they worked on getting the approval for the box re-design? It would be even cooler if the request to "fix" the nose cone came after this very "proto-type" had been sent to Hasbro.

I think I just read an article recently where it said WB was already backtracking there "everything gets released in both theatres and streaming at the same time" schtick..... Now they are saying the "more expensive" movies will get released at theatres first before going to their streaming platform....and their "riskier" movies will get booted to HBO Max.....translation: the crap will go to steaming right away! Well, unless you haven't been keeping up with current events....the pickings were pretty slim this Christmas season at the movies.... And sure, I watched it....at least I did not lose any money doing so.... -
I do not go and research everything I decide to watch on TV....my only lure into the show was the mention of "Lovecraft" in the title which on that sole basis would indicate some connection to the stories.....sadly it did not deliver on that front....not even a little....if it was never meant to be that type of show, so be it....it was still lacking....as I said before, it could have been alot better if they had managed to fully integrate both themes to the end....but it failed to do so...

Zero interest in finding out if the book is any better....I really doubt it As I said, the Lovecraftian tropes were tossed at the start of the show but mostly were forgotten by the end...the show just gave up on trying to blend the 2 genres into something really interesting....by the conclusion of the story, they literally could have just replaced the black actors with white actors and it would of had zero effect on how the story ended up.....and the Korean lady/monster....what a waste....she literally was just created to have a way to resolve how to destroy the bad white lady at the end other than that she served no other purpose....this series had a high production look to it, no doubt, but it was just trash behind the sparkle

It is as good as you can get for a DX VF-1D....pretty sure that will be the going rate once it gets released....only thing that would beat the price would be the return of "lower" shipping options... Luckily, I have already secured all of mine and should be able to get a better shipping cost once I have them all consolidated into a single package

The main problem with Lovecraft Country is that is had virtually nothing to do with "HP Lovecraft"....I thought I was going to get was a good dose of cosmic horror but it barely materialized.....got the bait and switch instead.....nice one HBO!

In Wonder Woman 3, they will keep "Wonder Woman" in the movie title...but will just cut out Wonder Woman entirely from the actual story.... The good news is it will still have a 50/50 chance of being way better than WW84!

Are you referring to the recent Yamato/Arcadia 3P VF-1's? Yeah....unfortunately, like it or not, "KO", "unlicensed", "3P" these days no longer equates to being complete garbage...still....they are not official, especially when you have the actual license holders warning their customers about them.....again, buyer beware
