Best Nora scheme I've seen! The sabers could use some dusting, too.

@Rock Regular scheme or any special ideas? _ You could say I got my work cut out for me:

Actually, it's gonna be super easy, barely an inconvenience... NOT! -
Platz' 1/144 kits are styrene. The 1/72 kits are resin, with the Syphid and F/A-27 coming from Korean Project E5.

The Platz 1/72 resin kits (except the Sylphid) will also be re-released in September.

Those who missed the Orange Cat Industry model on it's first release last year can now get it from Wave; it's up for pre-order at the usual suspects. IMO it's a great interpretation of the original design, and finally a kit of substancial size (last pic is next to a MG Gundam)

Thank you! I wanted the scheme to convey a more retro feeling against the newer iterations of the design.

The Siren is on the final mile, some tricky assemblies and the shield still ahead. I need to get this out of system.

Yeah, even as a youngster I felt the huge discrepancy of the elegant Trek ships from the show and the reaaally crappy plastic you got in the box. _ Can't stop looking at the Siren.

Here's a very comprehensive interview with the developers of the kit, talking about Kawamori's input, Hidetaka Tenjin designing the markings, making a seamless bubble canopy, and future VF-31 and YF-29 releases: https://hobby.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/interview/1343913.html

@peter Looking forward to see the finished Ex. It's a beautiful design. @Salamander You're right, the Buster Launchers came in sections. Overall length is about 70 cm. Still needs a few tweaks, but I'm close to attaching the legs on the V-Siren.

Good job on the canopies. And the pilots bring it to another level.

While the 84 movie has some issues, it still delivered on the visual side IMO. The Baron's introduction and the Navigator scene freaked me out, and the costumes and art direction were pretty unique back then.
