  1. Clip the leg frame from the runners and watch the joints move in awe. You'll build the kit in no time.
  2. There's another new set: Yamato Mecha Collection Special Box No pics yet.
  3. So the DDG 110 and the DWG 262 are the Mekacore additions to the Deusla II and the ship set III, i was hoping they would make it into the 1/72 line. But the ship set with Meltria, the sub and the fighters sounds good.
  4. I'm still waiting for somebody to make a wall-mounted display with the launch arm. Jefuemons hangar is impressive, but it's suicide in terms of display estate.
  5. BTW if you feel the need for some time-traveling, you can still run Syndicate on a current computer: http://www.gog.com/game/syndicate
  6. If it eases your conscience, G-Sytems product are not officially licensed, too.
  7. Well, if I'm the only tennis player in a company of golfers, I wouldn't call tennis my "guilty pleasure". The internal "confilct" is the key, just others saying "I don't think so" doesn't induce guilt.
  8. Shaun was a letdown in the second half, but I love Hot Fuzz. This one looks good in the trailer.
  9. I beg to differ. A "guilty pleasure" is something you can't help to enjoy despite seeing yourself as having evolved into "higher" moral or aesthetic standards. This is first and foremost independent from your company.
  10. ...and it looks good, too. SpaceX Grasshopper von jurvetson auf Flickr
  11. This proves that you don't need american designers to mess up a perfect mecha design.
  12. The Draken and Viggen are indisputable beautiful and powerful design classics. The Rafale is the best looking of the modern 4th gen. fighters IMO.
  13. Michael Green is no longer listed at IMDB as a writer, instead director Josh Trank is given writing credits, so maybe there is some hope.
  14. Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class) is producing, with Josh Trank (Chronicle) as providing the script and directing, which is at least promising. But IMDB already lists Seth Grahame-Smith (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) for script revisions, so maybe we're already heading for another disaster. edit: drad, I missed the other thread...
  15. The Gripen is still the most boring 4th gen designs in the air. It's the equivalent of a Volkswagen Golf. The Eurofighter is boring, too, but it still has that edge of ugliness.
  16. Dobber, this is the Gun Platform (or Mobile Fortress) from the 2004 Appleseed movie. Watch it dishing out mayhem and destruction here: If you read the manga, don't bother to watch the rest of the movie... I started painting the details and installed clear Wave eyes:
  17. The kit is quite small; seeing how they tower over city blocks in the movie I'd put it in the 1/1000 region.
