    I guess it's not the fact of the HDP kit I mind at all. I would actually be in for buying the kit....IF IT HAD THE LEGS AS WELL. That's the part that annoys me.

    hey, if you wanna blow ur money that's ur call, me, I'll just track down a 1:72 scale model and build one. That's the route I'm taking with the Spartan.

    WOW. great strategy Yamato. You gotta hand it to them...LOL...so to get a Phalanx you're gonna drop $100 on another destroid and THEN have to pay for the HDP or whatever top---which I'm SURE they are gonna charge at LEAST $80-$100 for. SORRY---NOT GONNA HAPPEN....

    Built this over the last couple of weekends...Scale Solutions 2 piece resin Super Star Destroyer kit..Always wanted a model of this! I pretty much guessed at the colors as there really is no 100% accurate source of info. The RPF forums and other places around the net showed several different schemes so I came up with this.. Model Master Neutral Gray for the light sections and Model Master Intermediate Blue for the darker sections...I also attempted my first try at drybrushing to bring out some of the details..worked ok I guess..but at this scale didn't want to do a whole lot of weathering..the ship looked new in ESB anyway.

    I only have the Yellow Megahouse and I paid like $70....Worth it??? Well, all depends on how bad you want a Yellow...Ive transformed it ONCE...that's all I could manage...find a pose you like and leave it there...don't think it would hold up to well being played with...just my .02.

    I'd go $350 for a 1:60 regult...IF it came with a figure that went in the cockpit...maybe then sell us a secondary pack of "swappable parts" to make the 2 missle version...for like $50 bucks. LOL...yeah right...dream on!

    The only half way cool one was the last episode of the first season....the one with with the pick ups in Alaska..Season 2 premiers this sunday i think...i might give it a watch

    after transforming my 19 for about the 3rd time over the weekend along with some of my older Yamato Valks--the 21, the yf-19,the VF 11, and so on, it is just amazing how much BETTER the 19 is than ALL of them...I will have to get a blue blazer! ohh...and i did NOT have to resort to youtube for a video for it either...like i did for the 21....

    Congrats!! It's an awesome piece! Get ready for THE MOST difficult (but fun) transformation process you have ever encountered! (set aside an hour the first time...)
