    There's one guy's YF-21 video that is FAST and accurate that I use when I do my 21/22's. I like his because it's straightforward and to the point. I'll see if I can find it.     So I finished Zero last night. Kinda weird.. .didn't really care for how the alien Birdman thing had to take out BOTH main bad guy/girl. They couldn't have let Roy get at least one of them??? I mean come on..it's Focker! ...Anyyywhooo.....Don't think I'll want to watch it again really. Weakest entry in my book of the series so far...behind 7 even. On to Frontier I suppose if I can find a good rip somewhere.

    Finished episode 2 tonight. Loved the dogfight between Focker and Nora/Ivanov. I think that was their names...finally got to see the blue 0D on screen as well.

    VF-4 is the best Valk ever made. Period. Yamato went out with a bang. Not a whimper.

    Well I just started watching Macross Zero for the first time last night...so I'll see if my interest is peaked to get this when I see what it does in the show.

    Got the Yamato version, easy pass for me, but I can't wait to see the outrageous price Arcadia tries to charge for the bundle, and the subsequent "OMG!!!" posts that result from it. LOL. The Fire Valk wasn't to bad back in the day, but the Sound Booster was craaaazy overpriced for what it was...not to mention over engineered.

    First transformation from fighter to battroid today. nice transformation... very solid feeling. No scary moments really. Almost completely identical to the yamato VF-19's. Fastpacks fit on without a problem in this mode. I'm liking it.

    Ship time from HLJ to my doorstep in TX is always 4 days. (using EMS) As in they ship on Sunday, I'm picking up on Wednesday, well Thursday AM if I miss the drop-off attempt on Wednesday. I have had it be 3 days a couple of times. That blew my mind.

    Ok--well besides the FAST packs--- which I think we can all agree BLOW chunks, ...after fiddling around getting tabs locked into where they should be and handling this thing for a while in fighter mode, I guess it's not that bad. It is solid and nothing flops about. I think the "feel" of the plastic just threw me off as opposed to the shiny slick feeling of the Fire Valk and my 19F. I'm gonna try a transformation tonight or tomorrow, and might panel line and do some X-acto knife sticker trimming and placing. In the mean time here's some high res pics I snapped using my good Canon camera. In the last pic you can see the scratches on the front of the cockpit..boooo.... . Frankly I feel that ALL these little (and big) problems are 100% on Arcadia for releasing this $300 item to the public with BAD QC issues. I don't think I'll be buying any further Acradia Valks. Yamato had it 99.9% down at the end.

    Spent a half hour trying to get the stupid FPs on in fighter. Did not succeed. They suck, I'm tired, or both. Going to bed. Feels like they could have found a better way for them to attach.....

    Sooo....I'm confused..is there supposed to be a neck cover piece to go on in fighter mode like the later Yamato 19's had? Looks like there is on page 22 of the instructions. Pic 6...But I don't see one anywhere..... EDIT...never mind.... I found it. Dumb dark colored kitchen counters....

    Well I got mine this morning from the post office, (ordered from HLJ)..I took it to work and opened it up outside of work just to check the wings and the overall condition of the plane. One of my back rear tails was popped off but it popped right back on, everything else seems to be fine. There are some very fine scratches on the front of the canopy that don't seem to go away but I've got some scratch remover that might work on that...not a deal breaker by any means. As for the plane itself I've never been a huge fan of this color scheme and I feel that my Yamato Fire Valk and 19F just feel a bit more solid and well put together than this does. I've always been a very nervous adopter of first time Valkyrie issues and usually wait for the second or third incarnation to come along. I took a chance with this one as it is my first Arcadia purchase...not sure about keeping it or not, may put it up for sale after I've had it for a week or two. I will try transformation this weekend and see how that goes. I want to say the pilot figures are some of the best I have ever seen and the paint apps on the weapons are very good as well.

    Looks great! Just needs a matte coat IMHO.
