    Last time I did an old Imai Macross kit, Bandai came out with the Hi Metal R Monster like a month later.. Let's see if I can get that situation to happen again... LOL!... Prepare the putty and the sanding tools!

    Finally got around to some light panel lining on the 1D. Came out good. Used Florys Grime instead of Dark Dirt this time, wish I would have been using this on the lighter colored Valks all along..

    I've got the original Star Wars Definitive Collection Box set on Laserdisc, which are the orginal theatrical releases as far as I know. More of a display piece than anything else now. It was always a chore to watch it on my old player, as the discs were double sided and three discs per move made for about 25 minutes of watching before getting up and flipping or changing out a disc! Whew! LOL! I skipped the "Special Edition" DVD's and bought the original releases on DVD, then of course the Blu-Ray set of all 6 including the prequels. The "Extra Features" discs for the old DVD Box set were excellent and had a LOT more stuff than the lame Blu-Ray box set did. Glad I kept those! I got the De-Specialized versions a few years back from a buddy as digital files, they look good, but I'm not sure they are the remastered ones...I would like to have those on my hard drive, but I don't wanna actually PAY for them from some Ebay shark.

    Finally saw it last night with the wife and brother in law, I have to agree completely with the above statement. Lots of good moments, but IW was a better movie. I get that this one had to be a little slower paced up until the end, and I like how they gave a proper send off to most of the cast, but overall it was a bit of a mess if you start thinking to hard about it. 6.5/10 for me.

    @mikeszekely can you tell me what size batteries I need for TE-01's gun? I can't seem to find anything that says....

    Great review! I absolutely adore my TE-01. I wanted the one that looked like he stepped off the screen in robot mode and he's definitely it! MS-01 I do prefer in truck mode however, but I had to just pick one, as I already have my old MP-10 for that. I'm about to go put the 2nd head on mine, which I had to ask the guys over on TFW-2005 how to do, if anyone here needs help, I can post a how to after I do it. I'm also gonna add the extra cell shaded looking window decals to the cab windows that I picked up from a guy on those boards for $6. Pics to follow!
