    The "we were in contact with" line is used a LOT when someone gets in a situation like this. Fans ARE mindless consumers of content. I'll be doing so on Sunday in regards to this very franchise in particular. I may come off as uncaring but anyone trying to "further" the story of someone else's IP without a rock solid contract is a fool.

    How did I miss the outside the US line? Well, back on the cancel Netflix list and the new ST show - don't care if I ever see it.

    I thought all those shows were on Netflix already? TOS and Voyager and Enterprise at least - I remember watching them. Good news on the new show being there, I was thinking of dropping Netflix (and may still if Amazon Video gets the new show too)

    Any film that comes in second on its opening weekend to a film in its second week of release is doomed.

    I have a chromecast and do not recommend it. The screen sharing feature is jerky and the audio often goes out of synch. Netflix - already have that on just about every other device. It also does not work in most hotels which is what I bought the thing for in the first place. Reminds me - I need to purchase the cable to attach my latptop to an HDMI port...

    There is/was a youtube video with valks to Danger Zone. Fan clip film but pretty well done.

    I hate it when Youtube has an ad before a trailer, gotta be kidding me!

    The ending for ID2 is worse... Maybe not as hokey but much dumber.

    I kinda liked Stealth, I grant you that it is NOT a GOOD movie by any stretch but I liked it better then Independence Day 2

    this is one of those where NOT knowing the dialog is better, just watch the pretty explosions!

    The advertisements for this movie were actually making it look like it is a decent movie. If I didn't have a limit to the number of films I watch on the big screen (once a month is a LOT, usually once every 3 months) I might have tried watching it. It will be a Netflix rental though.

    If the Ultimate Edition is supposed to be better I really feel sorry for all you poor sods that saw this in the theater. Movie was dull as dishwater, had plot holes the size of a whale, and the characters were unbelievably stupid.

    Since the movie is about a Big Friendly Giant I'm going with that.

    If you did not see the "Birdmen" from that show you owe it to yourself to look again, 5 seconds ought to do it. I mean, speaking of trash... As for Lost in Space, it gave us one of my favorite MST3K lines "This is like cheap versions of the Lost in Space sets"

    They are still making ride to movie movies? I may have to revise my stance a bit, have any of those things made money after the Haunted House one?

    Up on the screen, moving around, they look fine. Unlike the first film the dogfights really are not that interesting though.

    The first Alice movie made much bucks... I seriously doubt we will see a third one however.

    I gotta admit those writing credits have me a little bit worried. It is a Lost in Space remake though, how much worse than The Great Vegetable Rebellion can it get?

    They remake successful things, Tron is not in that category. When the other films don't do well some guy at Disney will get a chance, till then they have a full slate of the other items you mentioned that are doing well.
