  1. I always thought KIA meant Killed In Action! Graham
  2. That does it, I'm cancelling my preorders ;P I mean c'mon Arcadia, you've had more than enough time to develop a working toy scale pin point barrier system. Graham
  3. Received my two from NY a couple of days ago. No paint issues or other problems. Transformed one to Battroid, left the other in Fighter mode. So happy that NY declared the value as only €12 on the shipping invoice, otherwise my wife would have gone ballistic if they had declared the true value as they were delivered to my home and she was the one there when the parcel arrived. Graham
  4. I wanna fund this. So cool. Graham
  5. The first movie was OK, but a bit disapointed it deviated so much from the book. My son really loves the books. Graham
  6. The VF-0S with all the fixes is pretty good, but I'd stay away from any of the others. As well as being froppy messes, the grey plastc biceps have a nasty habit of sponaneously disintergrating. Graham
  7. My NY order has shipped and is on the way. Should be here in a couple of days. Graham
  8. The tail skulls on the one I got from NY are fine. Really prefer the bright white for DYRL Valks. Graham
  9. Great, I really like the two Frontier movies. Got them on Blu-ray already, but will definitely buy them again with English subs. Graham
  10. Locked.
  11. I actually think the box looks pretty good now I have it in person. Graham
  12. As the the VF-19S/F/Kai/P toys are gloss and look great, I'd prefer the YF-19 to match, but in the end I'm just as happy with matte. Graham
  13. I would have actually preferred gloss. Graham
  14. I for one am happier with a brighter white for the DYRL Valks. I never really liked the off white. Graham
  15. Just bought Call of Duty Ghosts for the PS3, but it didn't come with a hard copy user manual. Is that normal? IIRC, all my other six PS3 games have hardcopy user manuals. Graham
  16. Even though it's already been shot down by Arcadia, my number one wish is still a VF-2SS w/SAP. Anyway, here's my currecnt wish list from Arcadia: 1/60 VF-2SS with SAP (Macross II). 1/60 VF-2JA (Macross II). 1/60 VF-17S Nightmare, Milia Type (Macross 7). 1/60 VF-11C Full Armoured Thunderbolt (Macross 7, VF-X2). 1/60 Fz-109A/F Elgerzorene (Macross 7). 1/60 VF-5000B Star Mirage (TIAS M+, MPGE, M3). 1/60 VF-3000 Crusader (M3). 1/60 VF-19A Excalibur (VF-X2). 1/60 VA-3C (VF-X2). 1/60 VF-0D Phoenix, Shin Type & Normal Type (Macross Zero). I think we have a decent chance of seeing numbers 3, 8 and 10 on the above list. Graham
  17. Thanks davidwhangchoi. Looks like I'll be going with Borderlands 2 and Resistance 3. Graham
  18. Looking for recommendations for a PS3 sci-fi game that has a split-screen co-op campaign story mode and/or a split-screen offline multiplayer mode? What about Mass Effect 3, Bioshock Infinite, Lost Planet 3, or Crysis 3, do they fit the above criteria? I'm fairly new to the PS3, just bought mine when Macross 30 came out, but now I want to get some split-screen games to play together with my son. I've no interest in online multiplayer, just want split-screen for some quality gaming time with my son. Would prefer a game that has a split-screen story mode, so we can play through the story together. We're currently playing Aliens Colonial Marines together on split-screen campaign mode and really enjoying it (despite the negative reviews). Graham
  19. While I'll probably buy a set of CF super packs just to be a completionist, I do think the VF-25A looks better bare. Graham
  20. I let my son watch Aliens the other week, which he really enjoyed, so I decided to pick up the PS3 game 'Aliens Colonial Marines' on Saturday for us to play together. Had to search more than a dozen game shops before I found a second-hand copy as it was sold out everywhere. Gotta say, playing the campaign on split screen co-op mode, we are both really enjoying it so far. The sound is great, the story is pretty good so far, the game is very atmospheric and the graphics aren't too bad. I've been a fan of Aliens since first watching it as a teen back in 86 and I honestly don't get what's with all the complaints about this game. Sure it could be a bit more polished, but we're having a blast so far. Graham
  21. I actually liked the color of the Gunpod on the painted resin prototype. Graham
  22. Pretty sure they came out in 95, I owned both the Plus and 7 versions. Let me check my old hobby mags from that period and see if they show a release date. Graham
  23. I guess they are using the cover art from TIAS Macross Plus as a color reference for the gunpod. Graham
  24. Personally, I think it looks great. Graham
  25. Pre-ordered 2 from NY. Graham
