  1. The Black Series 6" Wolfe and Rex look awesome, definitely getting them. My son and I are both huge Clone Wars, Clone Trooper fans. My only complaint is I wish they had made the faces more faithful to the cartoon, rather than going with the face of the actor from the prequel movies. Also, gonna be buying the Black Series Porg pack and the Black Series 6" Gamorrean Guard figure I can't imagine the Black Series 6" Vice Admiral Holdo figure selling well, or at all. That's a definite shelf warmer in the making.
  2. OK, now we've seen some clearer pics, the look of the VF-32 Armoured Pack is growing on me.

    Bandai DX VF-31

I hate to think of the kind of stress that Armoured Pack is going to put on the joints and how much quicker it will accelerate the host Valk to a state of froppiness. I do quite like the look of the Armoured Battroid and Gerwalk though. But Fighter mode, which is normally my favorite looks terrible with the Armoured Pack IMO. I also dislike that the Tornado style beam guns are pointing backwards in Fighter mode.
  4. I quite like the look of the Armoured VF-31S in Battroid and Gerwalk modes, even though I'm not normally a Gerwalk fan. However, Fighter mode, which is normally my favourite mode looks terrible, especially when compared to the Armoured VF-25. I also really hate that the Tornado style beam guns are pointing backwards in Fighter mode
  5. How difficult would it be to incorporate moving feet to simulate thrust vectoring?
  6. It's on my list of things to watch. Probably start it the coming weekend.
  7. Wow, so soon. Strange no line art of the characters or mecha published in advance. They must really not be confident about this movie........hahaha
  8. I tried to give Devilman Crybaby a try on Netflix last night, but gave up after ten minutes into the first episode, as the animation quality is just awful.

    Hi-Metal R

THe VF-2SS with SAP is definitely one of the nicest looking VFs, despite it not being a Kawamori design. Ahd the HM-R version is a fantastic loooking toy. Even more so with the above detailing.
  10. My son has always been into toys. When he was a toddler it was Thomas The Tank Engine, Bob The Builder, then Ben 10 and Cars and Lego, then toy Knights and tanks. From when he was 5 or 6 and we started Watching The Clone Wars together and he got really into Star Wars Figures. This was great for me too, as I've always been a huge Star Wars fan. My son's main preference was Clone Troopers rather than Jedi. I think I must have bought him over a hundred 3.75" Clone Wars Figures over the years as well as several large vehicles, including the AT-TE, Republic Gunship, Republic Shuttle, Droid tank, Droid troop transport. We had many great battles with his figures. Then a few years ago when TFA came out he started getting into the 6" Black Series figures, as like me he was disappointed with Hasbro's return to 5 point articulation with the 3.75" figures. Now he's 13 and a half, he seldom plays with his toys anymore, he's now more into online Steam games with his friends. However, he still likes to collect and display and pose the Black Series figures that I buy for him/us. I have to say as I approach 50, I probably play with his/our toys more than he does...........hahahha
  11. I'm just happy if we get more VF-31 action, I love the design. But I'm guessing the ratio of action to non-action scenes will be extremely low.
  12. I seem to remember a very low budget, terrible B5 movie, which was basically just 2 characters sitting in a darkened room and talking for most of the movie, at least that's all I remember of it......LOL. But yeah the TV series itself was good.
  13. Just about to watch the last two episodes of The Gifted, season 1. Love the show, hope it gets renewed fro a second season. Jamie Chung is so cute. Also on the last episode of season 4 of Z-Nation. This is one of my favorite guilty pleasure shows. Also just started on season 2 of Dirk Gently on Netflix. As much as I liked season 1, I found I'd actually forgot a lot of what happened.
  14. I don't collect MISB. My view is that toys are for display and handling and play and enjoying. However, back when Macross toys were more affordable, before prices went crazy, I'd often buy 2 or 3 of each toy, one or two for play and display and a third as a spare to keep in the box, just as a back-up, in case the main play toy broke or got damaged, then I'd have a spare. I don't do that anymore, can't afford to anymore. But even with my spares in the box, I never cared about mint sealed boxes. It never bothered me if the box was a bit beat up or if the tape was cut.
  15. I may get one of these if I can afford it, as I missed out on all the Arcadia VF-0 releases so far.
