  1. No, I think GB II no longer happened. There were no references at all in Afterlife to the sequel, just throwbacks to the original, Unless, of course, they toss some in with this sequel... Well, if we're bringing other franchises into the mix, NYC is a favorite target!
  2. Well, only two major apocalypses in thirty years*, so I think they're doing pretty good. *before anyone mentions Ghostbusters II, I think it's been retconned out of existence.
  3. With it oriented like that, well scrolling down it's like it is launching up into the sky!
  4. @Urashiman Fitment notwithstanding, I hope the Scion is enjoying the modelling adventure!
  5. Just wasn't in the script...
  6. Man, I had such a crush on her back in 'the day.'😁 But yeah, Moebius gave separate chest pieces for either a male or female pilot.
  7. @VertexNebula Welcome! And a nice intro. Looks like a nice little kit, fitment notwithstanding. Any idea of scale? @pengbuzz Those will be in a shuttle flight heading out Monday from Caprica. They had a little too much RnR, so treat them gently. And by 'gently' I mean Drill Sergeant Gently! whip them into fine shape! And if you use the one with the bust one will be in even finer shape! @Urashiman Your Padewan has a nice eye for a pretty plane. And gray is good. I looked around a came actoss this... Or this... Glad he (and you) are having fun with it! Thom
  8. Whether or not CLU's plan would have worked depends a lot on 'hand-wavism.' A lot of sci-fi works best with a certain level of suspension of belief, esp since that in movies reality/physics generally bend to the will of the story. It's been a decade since I saw it last, but I think I recall that there was some fear that Quoora would not survive the transition to the real world, but then we see her on the back of Sam's bike, enjoying the sunrise just before the credits role. For me, that lends some credence that it was possible for the rest to happen also. It's the fiction part of sci-fi.😉
  9. Send it to me again to make sure I have the right one. Thom
  10. Hey, Peng! Don't know if you've already considered them, but how about Colonial Viper pilots? The 1/32 Mark VII Vipers comes with a pilot and the helmet is similar to the Airwolf helmets, as in completely closed up like a biker helmet. If you need two, I got two. Thom
  11. But will he float..?
  12. Looking good @pengbuzz and I don't think anyone is going to take some calipers to it, so I'd say you are good there!
  13. Have the first of three model shows that I go to coming up in April in Upstate New York.
  14. Nice work on that cockpit @pengbuzz!
  15. Nice! Thanks for the pics. It looks like a great show. And I get s lot of my models from model shows and can usually get some nicely priced kits.
  16. A Nightmare in beast mode! Nice.
  17. His face is familiar and it took me a moment to connect the roles I've recognized him in, such as on Nancy Drew and in Captain Marvel. RIP, good sir.
  18. In an alternate reality, this is one of the biggest movie franchises of all time - because they used all that 'our guys' cut and cut all that 'our guys' used. And I didn't go see it in theater because I knew it wasn't going anywhere anymore. Just the last gasp that I can watch when it streams. And I'll probably really enjoy it too, and just end up dreaming off all the lost possibilities.
  19. @pengbuzz That cup is barely more than half full! I want to see a full collection of colored pencils and a finished Airwolf, STAT!
  20. Sorry to hear about Supes, esp when you put so much work into it. As you say, it hurts. Modelling can be cathartic - and frustrating! But then that's modelling in a nutshell. But love the idea of doing a 1/32 Airwolf! That's taking modelling into a corner, slapping it around a little bit and showing it who's boss.
  21. That is one sweet display! What a fantastic job!!
