  1. The reason of naming Iwata is that you are already are in Japan. My guess is that is of easier access and may be less costly for you getting one in a store. I like Paschee as well. I like the VL double action a lot. I owned 2 and they lasted me about 5-7 years each I purchase them from "Evilbuy" and they are cost efficient, and durable for their price...
  2. This is a fantastic idea . I vote yes, but only if.... 1. they stop making us wish they make this and that fighter line. They SHOULD make them "all" and get it done right. I am so Pi$$ed @ff of a company making toys or models and becoming rebundant on the obvious VF-1. Someone please stick to a scale and make some of the "öbscure" fighters already so i can decided once and for all... I want my VF-4, VF-17, VF-9, VF-19 in the same scale regardless of the overall size. But commit a bit beyond the VF-1, VF-19 & 21 Macross is more than those. Between Yellow submarine, Bandai and Kaiyodo they came so freaking close with their 1/144 line but never finished the series. Too many potentials were left out and now the series is dead. But by far more affordable than many other models. The problem with them? too small and well, they are models and not toys so not for everyone... I am still waiting to be surprised by Hasegawa beyond the vf-1 & 19 But the future look grim now. 2. Price is affordable for the masses and not just the rich... After the 5th valk I am going to look back and say "wow, did I just spent that much money on this..?" It has to be worth spending my hard earned money for something you desire. But don't want to regret buying them once i found out Kaiyodo comes out with a newer line in "perfect" scale of VF-1 in platinum edition or whatever. I want Yamato make me wish i am looking forward to fulfill ( and hopefully complete) this collection. 3. Quality. I am truly surprised with Chara works more even than the Doyusha because of the detail put into them and far cheaper as well. But I am starting to see the pattern. They will milk the VF-1 line to dead and probably will never get to see a VF-11 of our so loved VF-4. Reason.. ? I think I might thrown up If I see another vf-1S hikaru... If the quality is visually appealing people tend to buy it just because... I would like some companies not just get a Valk out in the market because they can milk it. I think the ability to have interchangeable gun pods, fast packs, etc. among some of the fighters ( just on some of them, I know) would be a nice addition...
  3. This is going to end like Mospeada... Ranka will turn into a green queen Vajra and will fly away like an energy bird along with the herd to the other end of the galaxy because Alto and his humans has polluted this side of town... Grace will get caught into the tail of energy and will turn to dust anime stile. Klan will finally get normal boobs when micronized...
  4. I'd be interested on the wave VF-17...
  5. I am sure you know that Roy and Hayao were dead by the time the VF-4 was mass produced and Max has a full colored blue VF-4 and gone on it's own campaign with Millia..right ? Just noting some little details...
  6. Yes it is.. I believe is still available in Starship modelers. Is a 1/72 scale to go with the fine molds. needs clear coat, decals and battle damage...just like my b-wing,a-wing and x-wing...
  7. Only if this one sell well and brings enough money to Bandai hands to keep the franchise going...
  8. Las fotos estan mucho mejores. Pero la verdad yo creo que si hubieras tenido la luz y composicion diferente la calidad de las fotos hubiesen salido muy similar... En que modelo estas trabajando ahora..?
  9. All of them are going to take some work. I can tell you that the most difficult one is the Elintseeker, specially if you are going to go the extra mile with the photo etching and painting. Yes the MMGuard would be the hardest to find and the more expensive one, but I recall they made a comeback on HLJ. I do dig the pic on the Black Aces model; But is the same mold that the Elint and I am not going to shed $35 just for decals... Star with the Roy 1S is the most forgivable of all the kits. You might need the Hasegawa pilot + missiles 'weapon' set and photoetched kits to make it look prime...
  10. Iwatas are equal if not far better Than Paschee
  11. As far as I know They were already being replaced by vf-4, vf9,, vf14, vf 5000 and soon to come vf-11s soon after as the colonization fleets started leaving the solar system. . But the VF-1 were updated to VF-x types. There's not much known between 2012 and 2040 except for M3 game era. I am just surprised the VF took an acelerated evolution during 2010 to 2015 and then after 2040s or so but not much development in between those 2 decades... I know someone can fill in since I am not knowledgeable enough of the time lines...
  12. I would believe Kamjin is noticeable taller than the average soldier though. What's the height difference on both resin soldiers? The other thing I would like to know is if anyone knows that the DYRL soldiers are the same height that the TV counterparts? I am wondering that modifying the Cap's soldier to the DYRL scheme is possible with a bit TLC Sculpey modding..
  13. Don't get so anxious about this. Mike will get that Monster run done eventually. He has several other projects he works on during the year. In some instances we had to wait a year to get a project see the light of day provided the interest was still there..
  14. I have an resin IHP 1/100 I am thinking on selling If anyone is interested...
  15. OK...Well, just a few hours later and just finished this one...
  16. I've been working on this since last year..finally done 1 of them and 4 more close to be finished..
  17. Now I can't get on the Starship Modelers Forums..would they have been hit now..?
  18. Look past half way towards the bottom of the list.. http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/models...i/arii_orig.htm If you do a search at the main page of the site and look into models on the left quadrant you'll see many of the manufactures. The show every so seldom on Evilbay
  19. Could someone post pictures of the assembled one? I don't want to sign up just to see the pics...
  20. Absolutely gorgeous.... Great job man...
  21. I like this far better than the dark 25 anniversary one.. Is a fresher look to the old mold...
  22. Not only that but they look pretty small..I still like to have one of those..in 1/700 scale...
