wolfx Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 HUZZAH DADDEH?? Unfortunately he's not the same scale as Murphy. I'll just be getting ED. BOUT time they made a big detailed figure of him. http://www.ultimatetoys.com.my/New/Robocop...d/HotToysEd.htm
Roy's Blues Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 These kits are also coming out BigBadToyStore I have 2 of Robocop MK. II (cain) on order. I hope hot toys makes one of him!

I hope hot toys makes one of him! 388355 WHy does it say model kit? That the kotokukiya Trading figure set. And they are all out of scale with each other, that's my major peeve with that set.
Dangard Ace Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 HUZZAH DADDEH?? Unfortunately he's not the same scale as Murphy. I'll just be getting ED. BOUT time they made a big detailed figure of him. http://www.ultimatetoys.com.my/New/Robocop...d/HotToysEd.htm Wow. Now that's a very cool looking ED209. How much is that thing cause I may want one.
mechaninac Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 1/6 scale, 14" tall, fully articulated and detailed... I want it, but at about $212.00 (did a conversion using Malaysian Ringgits) before shipping? I don't think so.
Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Isn't that the Mcfarlane Robocop in front?
zeo-mare Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 wow that is a awesome looking Ed-209, i wonder if they will do Cain (sp?) as well?
Rider Faiz Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Oh that's just beautiful!! But at the price and the fact that I just completely SUCK at making/painting models, that leaves me out -RF
zeo-mare Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 actually Rider Faiz i do not think it is a model it says some minor assembly required, maybe in the package the arms and legs are unhooked and you simple have to attach them, there are many toys like this on the market. it looks like it is prepainted so you will not need to paint it yourself, i do not recall Hottoys making model kits only figures. the price however is another story entirely. chris

It looks awesome alright, but at 200+ dollars I really don’t think I’ll be plopping down the money for it.
promethuem5 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 (edited) I've never liked the Robocop design, but the ED is pretty sweet.... seems aefully expensive tho, gorgoeus and detailed as that figure is. EDIT: You know...in the pics, they don't show any leg articulation.... for the much money, I would want it fully posable with all those leg pistons working and retailed... Edited April 6, 2006 by promethuem5
Fort Max Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 If that price comes down then I would love to get one, 14" is big enough to crush puny Gundams underfoot.
wolfx Posted April 7, 2006 Author Posted April 7, 2006 The price seems fine since most of the Hot Toys figures come for that kinda price anyway. Judging from the pictures, it looks detailed enough. Hope to see more detailed photos demonstrating its poseability. As long as it can do its "Attack-mode" pose,(where it sorta crouches with hands pointing menacingly) i'm sold!
Neova Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 (edited) I have the Hot Toy's Alien Vs Predator - Predator "model kits" and let me tell you they are BETTER than MOST 1/6 scale "action figures". You're kidding yourself if you pass up on these cuz its a "kit" and you're a toy collector / fan. If the price was cheaper, I would consider buy it asap. Edited April 7, 2006 by Neova
wolfx Posted April 7, 2006 Author Posted April 7, 2006 Actually guys, the "MODEL KIT" reference was regarding the Trading figures posted by Roy's Blues, not these Hot Toys figures. These are DEFINATELY action figures.
Chewie Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 SUH-WEET. I have ALWAYS wanted one of these as a toy/collectable/whatever. I am sold, articulation or not. =D - C
grss1982 Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 HUZZAH DADDEH?? Unfortunately he's not the same scale as Murphy. I'll just be getting ED. BOUT time they made a big detailed figure of him. http://www.ultimatetoys.com.my/New/Robocop...d/HotToysEd.htm 388351 WHAT!!!! They have that, but none of this one:
promethuem5 Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Which was the one prototype replacement with a skull in the helmet that went nuts? It only had a few seconds of screen time, but I remember the model work for that one being really neat.
Valkyrie Hunter D Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Which was the one prototype replacement with a skull in the helmet that went nuts? It only had a few seconds of screen time, but I remember the model work for that one being really neat. 388856 That "audition" scene still slays me. ED looks killer, and even at $200, I'd have to plunk the cash down for it.
EXO Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 I'm getting it if it's just simple assembly. I never finished my vinyl kit. But I hate that grill on top. Why the creases?
isamu_dyson Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 when does that "babie" will be released ? i want one 14" (35 cm) it been a huge masterpiece in my collection
Uxi Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Wow, that does look cool. I don't remember Cain looking like that. :ph3ar:
sabretooth Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 the cain design is one of my all time favs... it just looks so damn mean

ITS HUGE! http://www.xltoysforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=3178 Sheesh i knew it wuz big, but i guess i never took in to consideration how big it really was until i saw those pics. If only i had the cash... and the space for that matter.
Dante74 Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 OMFG! The shipping for that sucker would cost more than a 1/48. I want it! Too expensive but I want it!

mister_e Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 Imagine if it was to scale with the 12" Robocop. It says it's 1/6 scale. Doesn't that make it to scale with the 12" Robocop? I guess Robocop might be a little taller than 6' in real life, so maybe at 12" he's not quite 1/6, but it's pretty close
Poonman Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 ED 209 amongst other stuff. ITS HUGE! http://www.xltoysforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=3178 best. mech. design. EVER. even the foam is nice on that thing. I MUST HAVE IT
