    Hi guys I'm a near total noob when it comes to building plastic models (did a few Gunplas and that's it - loved the fact the no glue is needed for those ) but I do love the look of the Valkyries in plane mode. I've gotten a hasegawa kit in the past, but it was simply too difficult for me and never got around to completing it. Would you say the Plamax models are substantially easier to build? If so, I'd probably pick one up. Thanks!

    Yeah that pirate head is probably the best looking head of any VF.. I do wonder if it should have been given to the 30th Memorial ver., in keeping with the skull theme lol Got it from Mandarake. I don't specifically look for these trinkets, but only if I happen to be buying something else & so bundle it in if they happen to be available. That said, this strap is one of the nicer ones to me since its all metal, rather than the many PVC ones.

    Depends on what level of super prototype shenanigans you're ascribing to Gundam... i.e. which part of the series you're looking at. If we're looking at the early Gundams (MSG and MSG-Z) they weren't hugely faster or more powerful than the grunt suits, and being in a Gundam was definitely not an "I Win" button for any of the early pilots. Not like, say, the Fire Valkyrie. Also, the VF-19 was nerfed by having the flight controls tuned down so normal pilots could fly - this doesn't translate to reduced engine power or anything that would show up in the usual stat block we get for model kits and the like, but it's still a performance hit. And the VF-22 had a bunch of stuff removed compared to the YF-21; that's technically another nerf, as no one could fly the VF-22 like Guld flew the YF-21.

    Well, you can take the clear shields, butt thruster and GN condenser off this one and put them on the previous MB Dynames and make the Repair version from the movie. :edit: also the new guns look cool. if the price drops enough this would be a nice accessory set and you can just leave the main figure in the box.

    I want to get the Ostrich but I'm not sure where's the best place to buy them now. I've been mostly buying through eBay lately. I haven't bought from an overseas online retailer since pre pandemic, and that was usually through Nippon Yassan, I didn't even know about the fraud that took place with NY till recently. Is Yokakunow popular to use now? I was checking out Luna Park but I don't get why they have a regular store and a "premium" store.

    This, and also most likely to not make it more attractive than the hero valks like the 19 and 21. Yeah, in Battroid I can see this bar the torso part, but in plane mode it's it's own beast. The plane mode with those broad wings and feety thrusters has always reminded me of a goose flying.

    I wouldn’t mind getting a Fantastic 4 show. Kinda curious if they’d do an X-Men spinoff like X-Force or something as well. The X-Men 97 show definitely wasn’t perfect, but pretty good for a kids show
