I swear I'd like to understand the mentality behind whoever's in charge at HG. Nothing against those who liked the game, but it seems like it's just going to be a skin for the game. 22 years since Invasion (bad because it was made with a Coke and a pastry) and what does she do? Collab with a mobile combat game. I think if she allowed it, the fans would make something similar to Ace Combat on the 3DS, or even better.

I am looking forward to receiving mine. Partially because I love the design and I adore mecha with mechanical lion faces on their chests (not a big fan of Daltanious) and partially because I am curious if Takara can produce a high end collectible. I heard so many good things about AM Rodimus but looking at some pictures I am shocked how bad the paint application and molded some pieces appear to be compared to the praise the piece was receiving. It seems to be in par with what Takara is usually putting out (just more of it in terms of paint application) but can’t hold a candle to the K3 one. Now I am wondering if all the Transformers fans a gushing over the Rodimus because they have no frame of reference for high quality collectibles or because it is really an exceptional toy. I am aware that this might sound "elitist" or me discrediting Takara. However, I want to ensure you that I love many of the Transformers toys I bought in the past but in their collector focused lines their hit to miss ratio is higher than in other, comparable toy lines. Takara is very good at engineering fun puzzle-former toys but in manufacturing quality their output is usually lacking.- 18273 replies

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0

Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling ended I personally enjoyed it. -
There is no scale under the VF-25, so I was under the impression it would be a 1/48 VF-25. that would explode the community.

Thus far, I'm liking virtually everything about it, minus the hollow forearms, as Shawn pointed out, but especially those high arched feet. If they'd imparted another 20-30 degrees of forward arc to the feet, it would have looked so much better, especially in Diver, as you could really splay them. It's kinda hard to tell from the angle, but I hope the gear are long enough to maintain a minimal clearance from the ground; it sucks when the chest does the job instead. Transformation wise, the ease at which everything moves, lines up, and locks seems very well thought out, very much like some of the better leader or commander class Transformers figures. It looks great across all three modes. I like the use of the cockpit-adjacent leading-edge panels housing the shoulder guns; unlike the original Legioss with the fold-away shoulder cannon, these have the option to move so that they're not obstructing the head movement. Too, due to their being mounted on what appear to be ball joints, there should be a limited ability to make said guns track with the head rotation, which is pretty nifty. Finally, the modular aspect of the weapon accessories, and perhaps even with the chest bits, should prove interesting as one collects more of these, as it allows for all sorts of combinations between them. I preordered my copy through Japan Figure, who I've never used before. Just waiting for the shipping notification. Kinda excited to get this thing in-hand as it actually looks like a fun toy to handle and transform, neither of which can be said about a great number of transforming toys these days. And then in May, I believe, the Pose+ Legioss should be releasing, and that thing just looks amazing. 😍 So much Mospeada love all of a sudden- glad I'm here for it.

ahhhh, NOW I know whey they call it a model, and not a toy! Its just like transforming my 1/48 Imai Legioss kit. I suspect all these non-permanently attached pieces allow future upgrades/parts swapping for some potential crazy combinations.

I like the new interpretation of the transformation, but not a fan of the hollow forearms, they really look awkward...sort of go-bot like. Having the cockpit glass directly under the head is a bit odd after all...it almost makes the pilot think 'get that head thing out of the way so I can see' Should have an option to move the head around like the missile packs...put it on the leg lol

Apparently, there isn't any scale mentioned on the box but the toy designer did mention during the early days of reveal that it was 1/60. From the Fighter comparison pics, it would be either the Sentinel's being smaller than its stated scale or Toyrise's being larger. Unless, the scale of one or the other or even both are being quoted for Armo-Soldier instead. Still no comparison pic of both in that mode yet that I can see for now. Edit: Found a comparison pic in Soldier.

The 25, 27, and 29 are identical structures and transformation with cosmetic changes on the surface. But as I said, there is 0% commonality between Chronos and Seigfried. And unfortunately that's not how Bandai works either. There are recolors with 100% parts commonality with high demand that they still won't ever make, because they like having salty fans. Then there are kits that have large identical sections, yet they somehow waste time and energy to redesign whole new runners to rearrange the same parts differently. Other times, they will make a recolor, but since the paint jobs are different, so they will give you a runner in multiple colors to have single pieces match different sections of the new paint job, and inflate a kit to triple it's price and size, just because they are lazy. You can't guess how Bandai works with any logic. It's more likely that Bandai would bust out the 30 to avoid completing the Delta or SMS teams, or they finally run out of every other design to make and lose the coin flip for cancelling the product line so they need one last kit to make. Whichever farms them most spite with the fans is the way they will go.

Nice comparison on sizes...and because I am super lazy this am to search, did they tell us the scale? Is it 1/55 or 1/60 ish? Or is it non-scale?

Don't think anyone asked for the Miku, and it barely even looks like her, not to mention it doesn't even look good as its own doll/figure tbh. We are a decade past the age of vocaloid hype too... Idk if there is even a target audience for that thing. I'm sure diehard worshippers that buy every single piece of merch ever made would buy it, but I don't think many are like that... Wouldn't be surprised if it sold worse than the VF-17S
-
Yes, if it sold better I would have called it likely but possible is still in the table.

That is, probably, the BEST recommendation for this movie! Now, I really want to see this.

The Japanese word "seifuku" means "uniform." Apparently Google Translate just assumes it means "school uniform." Also, I didn't notice this before, but she'll be a 3D printed figure, not a traditional resin figure like up until now.

I am an occasional Miku fan having a few of her figures over the years. But this kinda creeps me a bit. AI singer now in a killer bot-body.
