We're getting a non-canon GBP VF-1S before a DYRL Roy Strike Valk, The Max/Hikaru DYRL 1A's or a TV Kakizaki 1A 🤡

Liquid latex is great in short term, but can degrade over time and turn kinda crispy. But in short term use is pretty awesome for Halloween stuff or film scenes I’ve seen some stuff done with Elmer’s white glue that looked pretty cool, although I’m not sure on longevity with that either.

I agree. The price point and size is just right for me and will make it easier to afford multiples, while also being easier on shelf space. I personally really like the look of Legioss Omega toy in all 3 modes. I don't mind that these are a bit more toy like. I think they are gonna be fun little toys to play with, transform and pose and the 3mm hardpoints all over the toys should create some interesting options for attaching weapons. And I'm super looking foward to Takara Toyrise releasing other versions as will as TLEADs.

For the lulz! nah - my kid annexed it. So no 😕

Primed and first layers of paint going on the Space Jokey print. Once I get the paint and weathering all done I want to add a layer of liquid latex over the pilot like Giger did for the movie prop. Might not work out how I envision but I want to try and see if it adds another layer of transparency and a torn flesh vibe

It’s definitely a crappy deal. And made worse by the wording. Bandai really needs to just add in the decals with their kits

That FB video has no sound, so couldn't hear what the person was saying regarding the height of Toyrise's, but eyeballing his ruler puts it in ballpark of 14cm up top of his head minus the head laser. Thats about the height of the HMR VF-1. On SentineI's, I was pretty sure its shoulders were all covered up, but not so much after all:

Thanks Chas; I had a few dealings with AliExpress and got ripped off all three times. I won't deal with them again, sorry to say.

Ya. And I'm just saying, for the price of the kit, it sucks to still need to pay even more for the vf-31 waterslides. 2500y markup for the acrylic and idol decals.
-
Yeah, it’s just that it says waterside decal and I think everyone just thinks that means a whole sheet for the kit, but it’s just that one for the idol. It takes some careful reading to see it.
-
I just got one and I double checked the box just now. Waterslide idol decals, stickers for the VF-31J markings. It seems to advertise stickers on the box as well.

Yeah it’s unfortunate. I should have come up with a modification to make it movable but I felt like it was out of my wheelhouse. I appreciate the advice on the stand. I just happen to have one of those wire yard sign post things and just need to find a nice base. I’ll see what I can come up with. Would be nice to make a circular one with the UN spacey logo on it. 🤔

I had one of those many years ago, there are cheap cordless ones that can be adapted to a badger, but I hear the longevity can be an issue on some. you may want to wait for a prime day sale and see if there are just some inexpensive compressors

hey @pengbuzz I'm gonna put this link here and you can look it over. The reviews seem genuine, and it looks like it may not be too bad. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009086983955.html?spm=a2g0n.detail.platformRecommendH5.13.23e1UFQbUFQbf4&gps-id=platformRecommendH5&scm=1007.40196.439370.0&scm_id=1007.40196.439370.0&scm-url=1007.40196.439370.0&pvid=37193928-332e-4ee1-9b6a-acefb37d6148&_t=gps-id:platformRecommendH5,scm-url:1007.40196.439370.0,pvid:37193928-332e-4ee1-9b6a-acefb37d6148,tpp_buckets:668%232846%238107%231934&pdp_ext_f={"order"%3A"21"%2C"eval"%3A"1"%2C"sceneId"%3A"8499"}&pdp_npi=6%40dis!CAD!88.56!61.99!!!62.69!43.88!%40210337bc17572906776303282e37e4!12000047861122705!rec!CA!!ABXZ!1!0!n_tag%3A-29910%3Bd%3Add452cad%3Bm03_new_user%3A-29895 I know it's aliexpress but a lot of the stuff I've gotten from them is actually not too cheaply made - but you need to be vigilant. Maybe other folks could have a look and give an opinion? Or another version that comes with a hose. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008290480304.html?spm=a2g0n.detail.platformRecommendH5.4.2bf17Jgc7JgcIi&gps-id=platformRecommendH5&scm=1007.40196.439370.0&scm_id=1007.40196.439370.0&scm-url=1007.40196.439370.0&pvid=ec90b1d1-f692-4fb8-a9e7-d73453afff07&_t=gps-id:platformRecommendH5,scm-url:1007.40196.439370.0,pvid:ec90b1d1-f692-4fb8-a9e7-d73453afff07,tpp_buckets:668%232846%238109%231935&pdp_ext_f={"order"%3A"41"%2C"eval"%3A"1"%2C"sceneId"%3A"8499"}&pdp_npi=6%40dis!CAD!62.68!62.68!!!44.37!44.37!%402101ead817572912473822552ed01c!12000044499794004!rec!CA!!ABXZ!1!0!n_tag%3A-29910%3Bd%3Add452cad%3Bm03_new_user%3A-29895
