  2. You've made excellent points. It makes no sense—especially compared to the bridges and command centres in modern naval vessels. It also lends credence to an earlier post about the bridge being a redressing of a large set that is (or was) also being used as a large room. That, or they wanted plenty of space between the work stations to set up and move the cameras around while filming! 🤷‍♂️ The only other cavernous command centre in live-action that comes to mind is the control room in the film "Elysium". It's very dark, and has multiple levels, but that may be stylistic choices to emphasize the villain on her throne, so to speak. The plants are a nice touch, and all the underlings have radio earbuds to facilitate communication. Around 2:12

  4. I'm just thinking about it because the vf 19 is cheaper than the super siegfried by 40 usd while being a newer mold
  5. They knew about the clamshell issue affecting a whole batch (at least), and still didn't deal with it but for a case by case basis. The bastards even asked me to file a claim with Bandai Japan KNOWING that wouldn't be considered. In the end they forced me to buy something else to include with for them to send the replacement. You know full well I wouldn't have bought the Hikaru reissue from them vs elsewhere, but I HAD to choose them on that one to end this. Done deal with them, and Anime-Express for similar shenanigans.
  6. Two good toys, go with whichever you think is cooler or whichever show you prefer.
  7. Hello I want to buy my first DX chogokin macross and I want to ask if the supersiegfried 31j revival ver or the vf 19kai basara would be a good pick....
  8. We watched an older show that we were a bit late at catching from before the pandemic. Vice Principals on HBO whatever it is these days. Actually was really funny and not sure why we kept putting it off. I guess there were only two seasons, but everything has a conclusion. I think if you liked Righteous Gemstones, then you’d probably really like this one as well since it has a good amount of the same cast and very similar humor style, just with two guys struggling to become the principal of the high school doing and saying things that no real high school would ever put up with…. ever.
  9. Yeah, I’m not that familiar with how all the tech in modern star trek works, I just figured that by that point in the future there might be an almost natural way to do it. They need food, so carbon helps the plants and the plants change the atmosphere automatically or something along those lines and more efficient than a modern concept and not really sucking up extra energy. But like I said, I’m not really familiar with how their tech works and haven’t really watched any trek shows religiously since next generation
  10. I'm looking forward to seeing this on the big screen. The use of that oh so familiar (song) guitar riff is pretty good for the end theme. If the whole movie was Guns n Roses , i would have a hard time with it.
  11. So what happened? They basically turned me down.
  12. Yeah; I just figure why waste energy and resources on changing excess air back when it isn't needed?
  13. not worried about physical release at launch. Will this launch November 2026?
  14. his tailfin is broken
  15. 17. Picked up Liege and TFA Ratchet. TFA cause I love the Animated series (where's my TFA Omega Hasbro?!) and Liege cause the comics ended with a shot of him being the big bad. No idea if the comics continued that story but that's where I stopped reading.
  18. One day I will stop logging on to the MWF every few years to go, "why doesn't Bandai just release a Chogokin DYRL VF-1 Roy, Max, or Milia? Do they not like money?" But today is not that day.
  19. Makes sense. Not sure why they really need such a large bridge crew so far in the future, but I could see things being spaced out a bit if they were all using headsets. As far as resources, I’m not sure how advanced technically they are with recycling air and what all in all they need to keep the ship going, since they could easily have a system that could change the carbon dioxide back to breathable oxygen like in a miniaturized atmosphere type of system. I just figure that far in the future that ships on longs journeys would develop something like that. I do think the bigger issues would be overall energy use like lighting and antigravity. As far as injuries, I always thought that that kind of stuff was entertaining, but silly when you take the time to think about it. They would get into combat and random consoles would explode or people wouldn’t be sitting with seat belts and just fall all over the place. At least with a silly anime like Gundam they would occasionally put on full space suits just in case of a hull breach…..sometimes.
  20. Oh wow, y'all weren't kidding. There are quite a few obstacles. They really make it harder and more expensive than this needs to be...
  21. Only a stupid pilot would fall for that one. It would be like throwing a ping pong ball down a hallway🥴
