Bandai started a new line and then killed it long before finishing it? Who could have seen that coming? 🤑

Purchased my 33rd HMR CF VF-1A. It might cost a little extra with shipping but for sure it is less than a round trip ticket to Japan and extra time and money to buy a toy in the store.

I would have at least wanted a YF-21, the rest of the 25s, and the VF-1S.

They really did just upscale the Studio Series toy.. Yeah, the alt mode is a downgrade from MP-28 (and I really want to see the back of the car, which is kind of unfinished blatant robot knees on the SS86 toy), but the robot mode is a definite upgrade.- 17960 replies

I hope the JFS is the larger of the two. It looks sharper.

Though... alt-mode not looking very attractive and the weapons rack is a stupid idea. Nobody is going pose or display Hot Rod with that, Takara could have just omitted it and save themselves the plastic and money... Looking better than MPG-20...- 17960 replies

Don't you have a localized Goodsmile & PLAMAX shop? I use the EU outlet, and the retail prices are a bit higher than in Japan, but that is easily compensated saving customs & shipping costs.

@Chronocidal Platz made a resing kit of the Fand 2. I finished it right to the notorious cockpit pod. @wm cheng The F/A-27 and the Sylpheed have regular cockpit interiors, but the resin canopys are not great.

While my nostalgia for the G1 toys takes a definitive backset to the appeal of modern toys, I must confess that I've a soft spot for the G1 Dinobots, especially Sludge, the only one I had as a kid. My hope is that the whole team will get made and I'll get my chance to own the version of Sludge as I wish he'd been back in '85. I keep hoping for Prowl to be announced, since TT will get the most bang for their buck from the Fairlady Z bros. Prowl was my first TF figure, and I kinda destroyed him in my misguided attempt to give him leg articulation. A Missing Link version would not only restore my G1 toy, but in an articulated form I wish he'd had when I was a kid.- 17960 replies
