Saw a JP video showcase of this. Seems like they love it. Anyone that dares mention the side and bottom view in fighter mode is getting lynched lol

^That ... and I want one... I've managed not to splurge on any of the VF-25s toys... there's enough models in my stash that I can't justify it to myself... but this? Just when I thought I was out, the pull me back in!!

Wow. That’s looking great! It’s hard to judge the scale of that but I imagine it’s tiny tiny.

Yeah, corrected that, I meant Hasegawa. I really really want to see them make some solid aircraft kits of the entire VF-19 line. And yeah.. I have a pile of 1/48 YF-19 kits to paint in various schemes, but I would be all over an official release in those Supernova paint jobs.

Hasegawa, Wave or Max Factory are more likely (and my preferred options) to do a VF-19 series in 1/72 fighter mode. If it's Hasegawa, we can expect a full VF-19 set, as they'll milk those molds until the steel turns to ash. I'm personally hoping for that outcome, as I want them all: Basara's Kai, the VF-19S/F of Emerald Force, and the VF-19P. Some of the other "less canon" variants from the Masterfile or Macross the Ride would be sweet too, like the VF-19EF. I have spare YF-19s in the stash for those alternate White/Blue & White/Orange schemes. They're pretty! I also eagerly await a 1/48 YF-21... they might even make a VF-22 in 1/48, but I'll keep praying for that and world peace and see which come first😇 Either way, I'm quite happy to have this particular addiction of mine fed, so here's to hoping!

May have seen all the best scenes in the trailer. But I'll probably still go check it out on the big screen. -

Maybe try the reboot version. Not the recent Netflix one, but the one that was on cartoon network a few years back. I believe it’s on Amazon. Not as divisive as the new one and a bit less cheese than the original, but still fun and looks pretty cool -
You’re more likely to get Plamax to produce that in 1/72. Bandai is more focused on the hg 1/100 kits and probably won’t do larger ones while they’re still doing the occasional dx or hmr toys. I don’t think Bandai will do a full transformation kit again for a bit, but the did do the 19 in hg. But who knows, maybe once the new series comes out and Macross hype picks up, they might get a weird adventurous streak going. I don’t mind being wrong about things if it ends up benefiting the community and personally I never thought we’d see hg Macross plus kits from Bandai or Zentraedi kits from Hasegawa. The future may hold some surprises

This would be waaaaay cooler if instead of a VF-25 they did this on a VF-1D, that way you get Maverick and Goose tamppoed on the canopy. I'm starting to think this is the way Bandai chooses the next release

FWIW, I've never had any interest in MOTU, but this doesn't look bad to me, based on my anemic knowledge of the OG show. It's not something I'd go to theaters for, but I'd give it a watch on streaming. -

So since standard VF-19s seem less and less likely as a toy, how do we start a campaign to get Hasegawa to produce 1/72 and 1/48 kits of those? All I really want at this point is fighter mode models of the boring white VF-19 production models out of the Master file. I mean, an actual 1/48 YF-21 is hilariously overdue, and I'm guessing the lack of 1/72 sales drove them away from making it, but there are so many schemes they could sell more 19 variants in. Edited, I had Bandai on the brain when I woke up.

Wtf did I wake up to?! We’ve seen crazier IP collaborations with Transformers. Fake or not, I like the color scheme. -
The reduction of oil access will effect not just paint but things like plastic. Not to mention transportation fees.

Not sure if a thread is needed or is already out there, but wanted to share this. I saw this on a discord channel and thought others in here would like to know. Please move to appropriate thread if one already exists.
