  2. There’s some fun stuff on the tiny desk concert series from small rooms to lil animated fun. You definitely need to check out a few. Also the KEXP live series is really great as well. Lots of amazing bands in a small studio setting. The Zig Zags, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard were introduced to me through their series and I really appreciate seeing bands do smaller things like these once in a while.
  3. Yeah, I totally agree. I really did not like the new version of the show at all. Kinda killed the adventurous feel of the original for a bunch of odd paranoia and goofy changes. The original characters and designs and music were so much more memorable that I can easily forgive a few slices of cheese along the way.
  4. I bet this song was playing when Kei Katsuragi and Tina Henderson (Of Orguss). When they were getting their groove on in the bedroom. The night Athena was made. Before Key was sent to the future.
  5. Not my favorite design or anything, but I kinda like the lil uggo. Personally I’m not into the toyrise line, but if a ps version comes out for the 1/35 kit, then I’ll buy that for sure. Wave did the basic one, but I don’t think the ps version happened yet. I do have the old Actic gear one that really cut some corners and disappointed me, so I guess I need a good zwerg.
  6. Ooh, like the tease of the Scopedog transporter at the end of the video! Would love to get it for the HM-R series! 🤗

  11. Anybody know what the size/scale of Overdrive is – Masterpiece compatible? On the otherhand it might of been an opportunity for Takara to finally scale the vehicles to each other.
  12. Probably 2027/28 It's nice that Takara is making the unit, the problem I have with them is that they are half model half build toys and the none printing is not acceptable at this day in age! Although they have released a unit in the ARC series that did have complete printing! For me also the Hi-Metal R line is enough to satisfy my needs! and I don't mind waiting as long as they do that, what they have been doing so far and give it their best effort!
  13. I'm just on the Quent arc on my rewatch of the TV series, so it's made me want a Zwerg, even though I don't like the design that much. 😅 However, I've decided to stick with the HMR line for my Votoms toy needs, so I guess I'll be waiting a while.
  14. Oh, that remnant Snowtrooper is ugly. 🤨
  15. I'm with you. TOS Galactica is dear to my heart, and as a little boy I wanted a brown suede jacket with all the buckles so badly, way more than Han Solo's vest. Corny as it may be, I appreciate it for its campiness. I tried giving nuGalactica a try, but it didn't sit well with me. They turned Starbucks into a sexy chick, they turned Boomer into a sexy Korean chick, the chrome Cylons were turned into Replicants, and all of Ralph McQuarrie's designs were trashed. The Cylon ships look like hood ornaments. "Oh but Steve, I mean Greg, the original TOS Cylons show up in the 4th season in one episode..." I DON'T CARE. I was hoping that the remake show would capture the look and feel of TOS, and they sort of revive the Viper as an "older model" that remains faithful to the original design, but pretty much everything about it was a disappointment. I have to say that the best design from the reboot show is the Pegasus, as Ted mentioned. Fantastic. I started my TOS Galactica model kit several years ago, but as I was trying to figure out the timer chips to create the runway chase lights for the hangars, I couldn't get them to work right and I shelved it years ago. I really need to get back into doing electronics...
  16. As I posted in the "What will Hasegawa do next" thread, I visited the Winter WonFes event this past weekend. Here are videos and photos of the event. 17. Two things: 1) Why am I only now finding out about this Tiny Desk Concert series? A pretty large and diverse set of singers and groups did these. 2) How the hell is El DeBarge still hitting those high notes and falsettos so cleanly after all these years?!
  18. It's been months since I last took this off the shelf, but I've been playing around with this a lot lately after finally getting replacement batteries for the light up gimmicks.
  19. I am very disappointed that Shockwave is just a smoothed out version of the Siege toy. And why didn’t Hasbro smooth out/retool the front of the spaceship/muzzle to look in line with the rest of the toy/more accurate to the source material? Also is the color on Shockwave wrong? Shouldn’t he be more lilac than purple? I wonder why my favorite Transformers always have to suffer? Especially Shockwave/Galvatron/Star Saber. On the other hand I am glad that I didn’t buy the dramatic capture multipack. Skywarp looks good but I am not sure the Studio Series did away with all the disappointing aspects of the Earthrise mold.
  20. Auch that is pretty steep to ship the FATTY, I paid 6,600 from Mandarake with DHL Express 🤔 Shipping Method: DHL EXPRESS WORLDWIDE ------------------------------------------------------------ Payment Method: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, JCB only. No debit cards accepted) ------------------------------------------------------------ Subtotal: 32,000 yen Shipping Fee: 6,600 yen Grand Total: 38,600 yen ------------------------------------------------------------
  21. Yeah, not a huge fan of that design. I asked anime export to ship my fatty and they asked for 18,000 yen! I asked them if they could find a smaller box... Waiting to hear back.
  22. Never much liked the L-class: X•ATL-01-DT ZWERG (Dwarf) and the Tspark version doesn't improve my view! Would like to see how Bandai handles it!
