    Just finished the first three episodes and I do agree with everything you’ve said. I don’t think I’m at hate levels for this show yet, but I don’t think it’s gonna get much better. One thing that’s really annoying is the soundtrack choices. They chose a bunch of songs with cussing for some odd reason, but didn’t think about this being in Disney, so every song gets weird censoring. It’s really annoying. If you’re not gonna allow the language, then just choose songs that don’t use it. They even had to censor the cross eyed bear song, which seems like an odd choice for the scenes chosen for it anyway since it’s about an older dude taking advantage of a younger girl while an older dude is driving around with a younger girl. I’d have to say that the first couple episodes are annoying, but third episode builds some interesting tension that could have been better if the situations weren’t so dumb. Overall, I’m still undecided but really don’t think it’s worth watching for most people

    Captain's Log--supplemental. Again. I'm happy to report that preliminary casting has begun, and the castings are looking phenomenal, as usual! The final molds are just about done, and the extraction process has left me with a few parting "gifts". Sometimes that's the cost of doing molds right.

    Hey everyone, quick post! I don't know if you have seen these before, but it is an AWESOME add-on to your mecha builds! This is a mechanical Gatling cannon that has ROTATION AND RECOIL action!!! TOTALLY COOL! They can be hard to find and sell out fast, but Hobby Search has them (at this time) for only $13.00 (plus about the same price for shipping registered mail to the U.S.). This version COMES WITH the motor, batteries and switch: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/11182826 I just got mine in the mail and have yet to build it. If you're not familiar, Hobby Search is another great place to get stuff, especially if you're used to HLJ and them being out of stuff all the time. I've been buying from them for years. They seem to ship out faster than HLJ too. The motor is a compact gear motor and they are excellent for other projects too! I bought a bunch a while back. You'll see them in high end toys and kits. The small "ammo container" on the side holds three small 357 batteries - that come with the kit! I hear they don't last long, but adding in an external battery pack would be easy.     I'm glad they actually made a decent representation of this one, but I don't think you can really make this design any bigger without the weight of the design itself fairly well ruining the experience. In the realm of sci-fi designs, this one works out just slightly better than the floating/detached nacelles in the most recent Trek designs. The backpack on this one bugs me though. I'm not sure if it's actually supposed to close? It just seems to be stuck permanently detached/opened somehow. I'd love to see one in 1/60 if they could get the limbs stable (maybe some kind of sliding lock that would hold them in place?), but I'm not expecting anyone to take that gamble.

    I agree at this size everything just manages to hold together, and the same engineering at larger scale will not work. Once the SAP packs are on in Fighter, it teeters into handling nightmare territory, as the lack of arms tabbing into anything will drive one slightly crazy trying to align them symmetrically whilst trying not to bump other parts off position. Other than that, the plastics feel strong and Bandai made a good choice designing a central metal frame holding most parts together. But yes, the sculpt is really beautiful and I just wish there's officially more adventurous color scheme for it, rather than just sparse, re-colored stripes for the other pilots.
