  2. With all that multiverse stuff, he probably just got yanked over from a dimension where he was used for weapon X instead of Logan. I guess that Logan would just be able to heal really well after his very breakable bones keep getting snapped in fist fights and he regrets stepping into bars because he can smell everything even though he really needs a drink
  3. Some pics I found on a quick search The seat may have to angle up just a little and I never realized how triangular the seat actually is supposed to be. And the front while looking totally awesome is probably too big like you said. Looks like the top of the console area is pretty close to level with the top of the seat maybe just slightly lower than the top of the seat, it’s a bit tough to tell from that over the top view picture
  4. This is awesome, thank you very much for making this available!
  5. My copy of the Valkyrie and Destroid Encyclopeida arrived yesterday. As speculated above, it's mostly just a reprint of the line art with not a lot of technical details or new information, but it appears to be quite comprehensive, with a lot of stuff from games, M2, and Macross the Ride in additon to the series and movie mechs. Most of it is art I've seen before, but there is some new stuff (to me, at least) in here, like this spread on the Delta Workroid. Am looking forward to a detailed perusal this weekend!
  6. Hobby Japan Web has a small writeup on the 20th. Anna of the command Vorct story line with some graphics and maps.
  7. there’s a Beavis and Butthead joke waiting to happen for this guy.
  8. Sorry for the silence, been a busy month with a lot of travel and home projects eating up my time. Popping by to share a bit of irony/coincidence/Murphy's Law, as yesterday I received my copy of the new Valkyrie and Destroid Encyclopedia, which turns out to not just be a very nice repository of well detailed line art, but also has a two page spread on the Delta Workroid! This would have been helpful about a month ago! 😄 Oh well. also happens to have a very clean version of the YF-24 art in there as well. Good book for us folks looking for references, but timing could have been better. 😉
  9. Today
  10. Bandai still reuses some Imai molds whenever they do a classic rerelease run. And some of the other aircraft kit companies are still reusing the old 60’s kits. I know they do degrade over time and sometimes they just run into accidents and get destroyed. I think it was the Monster kit that had a bad issue that Bandai needed to touch up before they could reuse them or possibly just had to totally redo them, can’t exactly remember
  11. Gotta wonder if people bought it on Amazon just to review bomb it. There's no way people couldn't tell what the proportions were, from just the promo pics.
  12. Looks like almost half the comments were excessively translated to be passive aggressive for no reason. Can't shake the feeling that some of those people think it's an april fools joke and went along with perceived trolling too. There are quite a few alluding to or outright pointing out the harmony gold bs, although some others also clearly had no clue. So of course there were also quite a few complaining about it not being VF-1 / Tomcat from the original etc. There is clearly at least one guy coming out bitter over current events as well, which might be what is setting the sarcastic mood for some others. I'm getting the vibe that I was mistaken and Nakamura might have dubbed Hangman? Haven't even seen the new one, let along care about a dub... but Idk about those twitter translations, since the overall vibes were kind of odd in a uniform way. It almost felt like an AI just translated the whole page to have the tone of the same salty person. The comments don't all feel kinda spicy like that, based on what little I can barely read The comments I saw was a toy channel on yt doing a shorts on the news, and those comments there seemed like mostly hype.
  13. 🤣 The parting remarks from the review above: "I originally wanted to do a reverse transformmation video, but after transforming it back to Fighter, I must say it is simply 10 times more torturous! After the transformation, I simply have no wish to transform it a 2nd time, hence I decided not to film it. If you guys want to know what kind of feeling this is, I highly recommend getting one to experience it for yourselves (No way I should suffer alone in this)."
  14. On the subject of reusing molds until they're dust, does anyone know how Hasegawa keep their molds in usable condition? I know polishing of molds happens occasionally, but surely there must come a point when they have to just make new molds altogether, right? And in either case, are the new/polished molds different enough to be noticeable? Like, are original VF-1 kits from 2001 better-fitting than their 2026 reissues (to say nothing of even older molds, like IIRC their 1/48 F-14 molds taken from a defunct competitor that originally made them in the 70s)?
  15. Hot Toys - Deadpool & Wolverine - Wolverinepool This is a must buy. 🤑 It will be one of those figures that your eyes just immediately looks upon. How did Deadpool gets those wonderful claws, don't know? I just know I like it. Available in a limited quantity of 2,000 units. Deadpool & Wolverine - 1:6 Wolverinepool

    DX Chogokin VF-17S

  17. You just need a bit of trial and error while scaling down the hover bike until you get the right fit for the Dana figure.
  18. 8k yen?! Wish I could find deals like that for DX Chogokin VFs. Great score
  19. Oh dear, it looks like I overshot the mark... It's definitely too big for the figure. 😐 At least, the front part is too big... 🤨 I'm not sure how consistently scaled all the various segments are, to be honest. I'll have to do a little experimenting, and see what proportions best suit the Dana figure. In the meantime, constructive criticism is encouraged. Tell me where you think needs fixing. 😇
  20. Looks like some of the Japan fans don’t know that the VF-1 Bandai DX can’t be sold in the US and Bandai isn’t going to pay the license to have a TOPGUN themed Valkyrie and not miss the opportunity to sell it to the US market. Would have been great to see a VF-1 though, but it makes sense from a business perspective. Plus this may help push the Macross brand to potentially new fans of a series they can sell worldwide. It would be smart of them to localize the shows they can export with high quality voice acting for new markets too from a business perspective.
  21. First off, I'm not a fan of Delta anime. At all. That said, recently got a rather heavily-discounted VF-31AX Mirage a month or so ago. About 8k-yen only coz of a supposedly "cracked" horn, but it ain't a big deal. Think the previous owner was just way too anal about the minor "crack". As such, didn't really thought much about it other than to give my lonely Hayate-31AX a partner since I already have the VF-31C/J partnership also. Once I got it and stuff, I actually really felt a great liking to Mirage's 31AX that I didn't have with the Hayate. Somehow, even with the corny horn (cracked or not) and stuff, it really is a much nicer 31AX and much better to be side-by-side with the VF-31C: Unfortunately, the fitment issue is really bothering me. Guess I just really don't care about the Hayate having the same issue, but somehow, the issue bothers me alot more on the Mirage-31AX: It. just. won't. stay. flushed. :sigh: friggin' Bandai...
  22. That's not quite what I'm getting from gleaning the comments on Twitter about it: https://twitter.com/t_features/status/2038873935316480311 here's a partial snapshots of the web-translated comments so far: And yea, the F-14 still turned out to be the hero-jet of TG:Maverick. The comments above make it seem the jp-fans are also much aware of that fact.
