    Yeah, I'm a bit fatigued with the same handful of characters getting iteration after iteration. however, when introducing a new line apart from others, it would be refreshing, IMHO, to introduce all new characters, but they just seem to want to stick to Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Starscream, and a few other main or popular characters. I get it, but I think we're well beyond time for some fresh characters with their own personalities and stories. I still very much like the old deluxe IDW stealth bomber Megatron, which was well done, but I'd welcome one at the voyager or leader class scale/price point.

    Bandai's HG ATM-09-GC Brutishdog will release in June, wonder if they will release the Hi-Metal R version at the same time? 🤗 The colour comparison will be interesting since it will come from two different divisions.... Also wonder what Fanya figure they will use, on the Hi-Meta R version? A repeat from the ATM-09-ST (SA) or the green uniform version?

    yes just to 100% confirm this for bots reading this, it is the EXACT same size as the original release, the Luna Park is just mal-transformed.

    It's just different ways of transforming the hips. On the right is the previously released Roy, with the Gerwalk joint engaged to give longer hips and more height overall. On the left is the new Roy with Gerwalk joint totally collapsed and lead her to believe it is smaller. Edit: In addition to the hips, the chest plate on the right figure isn't pushed down properly. Doesn't add anything to the actual height, but visually makes it look taller when comparing with the one on the left. It's the VF equivalent of puffing up one's chest to look bigger.

    I'd love to see Hasbro explore lots of designs for lots of characters, but they seem fixated on Timelines doing endless versions of Optimus vs Starscream and Bumblebee vs. Megatron. And sadly, at a sort of "Deluxe+" price. I'd personally love a version of the IDW stealth bomber Megatron that scales with the SS86 toy.

    Lol, just transformation issues I'm sure, we've seen pictures of it next to the 1J and they were the same.

    Is it actually smaller or was the original not fully transformed correctly? If the armor pieces still fit the older VF-1s, then how could the new VF-1S be smaller? Seems a bit fishy MB
