What other good Korean anime is there? Or just good Korean movies in general?

I've seen just the decal sheet for sale. They were $15. The guy put his on a 1/60 DYRL Max and it looked pretty sweet.

This is completely untrue. According to Graham, the lineart shows no tail fin deviation from the standard VF-1's. really I have heard otherwise but if its Graham who says than thats almost as good as Kawamori. At the MW con, Graham sent early versions of the Ostrich over for us to look at but Shawn was quick to point out how stubby the rear tailfins were. If the two Sith lords think it looks funny then it must be off.

Okay, the lame pose and paint job made me want him less than the proto pics, but the new picture from the interior of Toyfare is bad @$$!!! I've got my pre-order with Blasto for the Japanese one and I'll probably pic up a domestic one if the price point and the sculpt/die cast content stay the same.

Yeah, I liked the first two movies but that's a lot of hobbitses to deal with in one day.

Hmmm, I watched this again the other night. It's great for background music since I don't have any of the soundtracks. Plus, I knew I had to get it when people were talking about the Megaload and the VF-4. Sweet sequences. I paid $15 or $20 for mine a couple years ago at the San Diego Comic Con. Still it's worth the money.

That's bizarre, how can a 12-year-old settle, considering minors have no ability to enter into legally enforceable contracts (which a settlement is)? I'm sure the mom had to sign something also. I assume that this is a similar article to the one that was in the LA Times today.

Alright, that's pretty cool. I usually don't like figures made in the likeness of real people since they never look like them but this is definitely an exception.

Most of the customs that I've admired were on websites that I'm not sure are even up anymore. Kidkorrupt's is a good site. Rosario Love had good ones on his site. Jung had good ones. You might want to see if there are still links to these sites on the MW links page. Valkyrie Factory is a good place too. Almost everyone from MW has pictures of their collections on there.

I sort of asked this question on the old board. Graham replied that even though Yamato liked the battroid mode they were REALLY disappointed with the fighter mode. Then he went through and listed some of the stuff that they didn't like. It's not a definite answer but you have to figure that they'll try and correct those issues. The only thing that I can really remember is that they didn't like the way that the YF-19 sloped forward in fighter. Try searching the old boards for the topic.

I vote 1/60. I want a complete line of valkyries in one scale. Plus, I'm not all that fond of the ugly battroid mode, but fighter is sweet.

Can you explain pre-shading when you get the time? I've read articles on most of those techniques except for pre-shading. I think Seichii at the MW con mentioned that's what he did too. It looks like a very effect technique.

Whose actually making a Minmay Guard Battroid? I thought they were just decals.

I voted TV 1As for Kakizaki and Max. I have yet to get a 1/48 so I need one first, but the GBP is a close second as long as it had crazy detail and some removable missles.

Hmm...I've got some issues with Mac Zero but most of it has to do with the waiting.

Obviously, the actress that played Baronness is attractive but she's too cute. The Baronness needs to be....hmmm....I don't know....less cute....not ugly, just less cute.

Also, in some of the shows (maybe Dynamite?) weren't some battroids used for construction type purposes? Could still be handy. I don't know if they are that big a threat but a variable fighter is an advance in technology, it seems silly to take a step back even if there is cost savings. For cost savings they could just make the valkyries out of plastic.

Kurt In the pictures of that Gundam that you built, the white parts aren't that white but look "dirty." Is that what you guys mean when you say "wash?" Obviously, I'm a toy collector not a modeler.

The funniest thing? The funniest thing was Bsu and Vostok mistaking that guy for a girl in the cosplay thread we had a few months ago. remember? Sorry guys but that was pretty funny. Anyway, I like the idea of cosplay threads. I suppose part of it is due to the fact that I posted some of my pictures from Anime Expo. Despite the content of the pictures that I posted, I do appreciate cosplay on more than just a fanboy level. It's a big "if" to assume that people can be civil enough to live with a cosplay thread but it would be nice if they could.

I love Banpresto threads. If they are cheap and you're willing to do the mods necessary, they are great little figures. I've have a huge fleet of them that I'm looking to display and customize but haven't had a chance yet. For a while anytime I saw a Super CF I had to buy it. Kind of like Mel Gibson in Conspiracy Theory and Catcher in the Rye.
