Hey All,

I started working on another Model Graphix Decal sheet bird! Here’s some wips of the fuselage. The thrusters are finished and will be taped up. I’ve tried a different mounting method for this VF; note the socket in the gear bay. I’ve also noticed that the 1J head does not fit in without splaying open the arms of the cockpit section, so I’ve dropped a couple of mm to allow it some clearance. I also corrected angle of the legs.

Here’s the Livery. I don’t think it matches the armored valk model that appears in the magazine but I’ll do my best interpretation of this profile.

The canopy with the kit comes a little too short, so I’ve extended it with a bit of sheet stock.

I ran out of Hasegawa GU-11s but I found this 80s one from the 1A Battroid kit, not sure which boxing but it was tan. The plastic was a bit brittle and it fell apart on me; I rebuilt it and added aluminum gun barrels. Beefy!

I cut up a bunch of wings to drop flaps on my angel bird build but I was able to gather up enough parts to reassemble complete wings. 🍀 lucky.
