Hikuro Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Pretty much all finished and looks awesome. Gonna try to photo op it when I get my camera home from work.
joppewo Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 very nice Hikuro! always loved the Banshee Norn in Unicorn mode over Destroy. kinda tempted now to pick up a PG Norn to bring back, when I'm in Japan at the end of month
McFly!! Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Sweet pic, thanks! Did you put a flat clear coat on? Is it too late to wish for a pg kshatriya?
anime52k8 Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 (edited) So I got this in the mail today, now it can sit around not getting built for a while until I feel like building it proper. also gonna need to get decals because it only comes with stickers. Edited November 6, 2015 by anime52k8
McFly!! Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 now it can sit around not getting built for a while until I feel like building it proper. Story of all my kits since the tryon XD and all I do is straight build the darn things (I'm a bit obsessive about sanding down nubs though)...
badboy00z Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I've probably got about 8 kits including a PG Zeta in my mom's garage back in California. I've had the PG Zeta for over a decade and never got around to building it...

I've had the PG Zeta for over a decade and never got around to building it... Probably just as well, PG Zeta is a tad on the chunky monkey side imo.......think you should just give it to me and let it have a good home. I'm currently building my RG 00 Raiser.....that's been sitting in my closet for 6 months. In a little while I'm heading to the hobby shop with a 150 spending cap. Gonna pick up some kits if they got anything cool, maybe something for a raffle in the build club next weekend. It's to bad no one here is in oregon I'd strongly recommend our club as well.......we're the only ones in oregon XD. We give out cool crap. It's nice being the VP.

areaseven Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Shame that Tallgeese II and III are P-Bandai exclusives.
badboy00z Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 (edited) Shame that Tallgeese II and III are P-Bandai exclusives. That was not the video I intended to share. Not sure how I got the url mixed up.https://youtu.be/3AwgSuhv_lE Edited November 9, 2015 by badboy00z
areaseven Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 That was not the video I intended to share. Not sure how I got the url mixed up. I wonder how many Gunpla kits were needed to get all those runners.
Kelsain Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 I've probably got about 8 kits including a PG Zeta in my mom's garage back in California. I've had the PG Zeta for over a decade and never got around to building it... I hear ya. I'm had an MG Dom since 2004, and I've never figured out what I wanted to do with it. I've kind of zeroed in on something, but now I'm really starting to enjoy building HG's at my desk...
badboy00z Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Which of the Tamiya spray Gold paint will give me a brass look?
Hikuro Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Which of the Tamiya spray Gold paint will give me a brass look? Best to my knowledge there's only 1 type of gold from Tamiya and that's gold if you're going spray form.
badboy00z Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I'm looking on Mega hobby's website and they list: Gold, Metallic Gold and Titanium Gold.
electric indigo Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I Clan assure you that neither looks like brass.
badboy00z Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 As far as US online retailers where do you guys buy your paints from?
anime52k8 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 I like https://www.hobbywave.com/ for mr. hobby products. I tend to use Tamiya more than anything else because my local brick and mortar store carries that and you can also order directly from them in the US.
badboy00z Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Unfortunately since I've moved to Georgia I haven't found a local hobby shop so I have to do all my purchasing online. I used to live in SoCal so hobby shops were relatively easy to find.

I wind up buying most of my kits from Amazon.
joppewo Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Gunpla Expo is happening tomorrow! Expecting at least an announcement of a new RE/100. *fingers crossed for a Kshatriya or Jegan*
seti88 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Gunpla Expo is happening tomorrow! Expecting at least an announcement of a new RE/100. *fingers crossed for a Kshatriya or Jegan* Or an MG from the IBO series perhaps? Though an RE Jegan would fit nicely too
joppewo Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) Welp, news of the upcoming kits are already out: http://hobby.dengeki.com/news/130155/ RG Qan[T] MG Freedom 2.0 RE/100 MS-08TX[EXAM] Couple IBO kits, including the Mobile Armor thingy. joppewo Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) Hi-Resolution Model: coming Spring '16 Edited November 19, 2015 by joppewo
seti88 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) Hi-Resolution Model: coming Spring '16 is that an MG? Dang it looks badass!!!! Whats a high resolution model? There doesnt seem to have the mentioned of Mg on the card but sure looks like one with the frame and details. And these fingers look real agressive.... Edited November 19, 2015 by seti88
electric indigo Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I want all of them... Is the high resolution model 1/100 or IBO's Real Grade?
joppewo Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) There was just a sign that said Hi-Resolution Model: Coming Spring 2016. No other information regarding the Barbatos at the moment, but it does look to be 1/100 scale. V2 WoL confirmed as P-Bandai release in Jan '16 @2160JPY too. Back to waiting for the RE/100 Kshatriya & Jegan Edited November 19, 2015 by joppewo

electric indigo Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Some more - Shiny Mega Shiki Supergraze: Powerbunny:
electric indigo Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Ok the High Resolution kit is 1/100. It looks amazing: I wonder if there are metal parts on it.
calubin_175 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) With the Hi-Resolution line, they say the frame is pre-built. I think it will be a one-off release just for the IBO Gundams as they're just toying with the idea since Barbatos and co have a presentable inner frame. It does look slightly more stylised than the 1/100. Edited November 19, 2015 by calubin_175

It does look slightly more stylised than the 1/100. That doesn't sound too different from the 1/60 Gundam F91 kit from the early 90s. It had an already assembled inner-frame.
mikeszekely Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Another RG 00, but still no other Operation Meteor Gundams? I'm disappointed.
areaseven Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 I'm more disappointed that the RX-93 ν Gundam still doesn't have a PG or RG kit.
