Graham
Gotta say the deign is slowly growing on me. Can't wait to see how manauverable it is in the movie with the swivelling boosters. The 360 degree rotating guns should be intersting to see as well. Graham
jenius
I apologize, I was thinking of that super fold pack for some reason. Brain fart.
RDClip
I've never really minded the Tornado pack. I do think that the VF-25 Armoured pack(the general design, not the toy) is too bulky.
ron5864
Considering that Kawamori himself is a Gundam fan, we shouldn't really be surprised to see some Gundam influences in Macross. Looking forward to seeing GN TwinDrive on Alto's valk in the next movie, Macross 00.

Vifam7
If anyone is wondering where Kawamori might have gotten the idea for the swiveling wingtip boosters - Bell XF-109 (wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_XF-109) EWR VJ101 (wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EWR_VJ_101)
kamadoma
Kinda nice though I'm not much of a fan of designs where long-barreled guns are only placed halfway on a vehicle. I like the Strike Packs more.
Robelwell202
Damn! That's... FOUL! I think 'fugly' falls drastically short, in regards to this version! UGH! I'll take the TV version, thanks.
mitch
Definitely warming to the Tornado Pack. I like the Fighter and Gerwalk more than the Battroid at this point, but I'll have to wait and see how it looks in the movie. It'll never have the impact the VF-1 Strike had for me, but I've put my pre-order in. What REALLY pisses me off is that it looks like I've got to but ANOTHER '25. I had been hoping that it would be a Tamashii exclusive... wow, I can't believe I just said that ... so that I could just get the 'pack (I prefer the TV colors). bigkid24
For about $175 I've got mine ordered. I don't have an Alto yet and I like the idea of having add ons that haven't been released yet.
logos
Well the price at AmiAmi was so cheap I couldn't resist. Ordered the tornado and the VF-27. My wallet hates me already! Edited December 15, 2009 by logos
Thom
I have to say I like it, though I'm not in love. Love would be the original VF-25 super packs!! Seeing it for the first time, cruising out of its hangar was awesome. And it looks like it works good enough in atmosphere there. Maybe I like the super pack better because it makes the VF-25 look like a ten-ton hammer that you don't want to be anywhere near. Whereas the tornado pack looks like its dressed up for a ball...
