It looked like Battle Frontier sucker punched Battle Galaxy right before the end. Not too bad an episode, but it did feel a little rushed in parts. Maybe Global was a Mayan community ship.) I'll have to wait for the subs but from what Grace said the Protoculture both feared and admired the Vajra that they made the Birdman in its image. The Vajra are several million old species that can fold like Whales. Inhabiting several galaxies. To me that explains why the Vajra larva reminds me of a Zolan snakes. Zolan snakes are symbiotic creature pets of the Zolans like Mylene's Guvava which are telepathic. Also it explains to me why Zentrans have organic looking ships. Galactic Whales in Macross Dynamite 7 reminded me of Zentradi ships. The Protoculture were a bunch of fold creature worshipers. We never did get what their religion was. While I feel more neutral the ending seemed rushed with too much stuff going on. Think how much time they spent in earlier episodes creating problems and most of them were solved in seconds. Too fast to really answer that much. Plenty of good mecha porn but that doesn't help the series that was too long with a finale that is was too short. Sorta felt like the Macross Zero Finale. There's a big build up but the end it is really quick, bunch of crap happens. I'm eager to see the movie as the series was about 15 episodes too long in the first place. (Yes Ranka sang a mating call) The Vajra use this song to propagate between hives in the galaxies. Imagine them looking for a queen then they find the state it is in.
