lmm@vf1 Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 (edited) Hi all, this valk was finsihed 2months before. I tried to imitated the partial colour scheme of the vE-1 on the main body and changed the fast pack to white and orange. No special reason or concept for these changes. Just want to make it looks different. Edited September 23, 2005 by lmm@vf1
Grayson72 Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 That's a really nice paint job man, love the white, gives it a current space era feel.
Graham Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Looks really nice. Wish I could paint that well. Heck, wish I could paint at all. Graham
Guest Bromgrev Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Nice job. I'm all for custom paint schemes.
Ido Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Nice anime look and scheme, but, something is missing

U can find, I made quite a lot of mistake on the painting. And the gesture, I think I made it wrong also. Now it looks like a bus driver holding a steering wheel.
Berttt Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 May I ask your valks lack the speedbrake? Nice work by the way, very smooth. Berttt
promethuem5 Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Wow. That's utterly stunning.... and as for the pilot, it looks pretty damn good from here.

kazuki Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Cool stuff there. It seems that you like your colors bright, clean & with sharp dark contrasting linings. Very anime in nature. (reminds me of Street Fighter Zero arcade).
nightmareB4macross Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Incredible job. I'm lovin' that paint scheme! If you ever get around to building a battriod, I would suggest you begin with this scheme.
Grayson72 Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Did you use pure white for the white parts or is it a subtle shade of gray?
Gabe Q Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Wow, I see a million and one parts in that tray organizer thing you have. Do you have some kind of assembly line process? Really great work you got goin' on. I'm really lovin' the custom paint schemes. Keep posting!

Instead of having 10 boxes lying around full of the same parts why not cut them off the sprues and sort them into boxes. That way if one day you feel like making a VF-1S you can just grab the parts you need and throw it together. Could prolly even preassemble some of the parts so all you'd have to do was sand and paint.
lmm@vf1 Posted September 23, 2005 Author Posted September 23, 2005 Did you use pure white for the white parts or is it a subtle shade of gray? 330659[/snapback] it's Mr Hobby no.1 pure white. I don't have an airbrush. So just use "spray can " to do the painting job with some pastel and chalk shading. Grayson72, I saw some of your work. They are great. Would u mind to teach me how to draw the seam line/panel line on the decal? Or give me a link for reference. thx.
