A while back I started bugging him about mastering a Raptor from the new BSG for me. After much arm twisting John relented to take on the project. (he knew, I think, I was not going to stop bugging him! ) She will be in 1/24th scale (scale with my TOS Studio Viper) with a fully detailed cockpit, pilots, the works. These are the latest pictures and I thought some of the BSG fans would enjoy her. She is still about a month away from completion, but the Captains work always floors me! Such talent!!!! The fact that Moscato got so tired of you bugging him for one that he whipped one of these puppies out just to shut you up. The man's skill amazes me. I wish I had the ability to do something like that just because a friend wanted one. Wow. I still cry when I think of the Legioss project. HG really stabbed themselves in the foot when they effectively killed that one.

But I'm also hoping to someday see his Legioss completed (even if just for himself). And then I want to see a Tread built for it. Ok... I'm dreaming again. Knight26 Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Dag but that is nice, too bad it's delaying the 1:48 VF-1D conversion though, lol. Seriously that is beautiful, I hope he sends it to production company and can get it liscenced, make some money on it, he deserves it.

cobywan Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Jesse got the orthogravic renderings from a Zoic guy and I made the blueprints and plotted out the flats for the wings. John did all of the figuring out from there. A LOT of figuring out. That interior really floored me. I had no idea that he was holding back on us for so long.

He always does that...I always notice his builds go like this: 1st update - oh...yeah...neat idea 2nd update - hoo-humm...looks like chunks of that funky balsa he uses and some styrene.. 3rd update - yeah...I can kinda see the shape...neat 4th update (queue eairy music from the heavens and beams of sunshine! ) Thanks again for the work with the blueprints Coby! It would not have been possible without you!!!! (now if only I could get Anasazi to agree to do decals!! )
