cwmodels Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 This is a full scratch-build figure I have been working on. Still in progress. It is based on a recent anime character (non-Macross). Wanna take a guess who this is?
Agent ONE Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 I don't like anime!.. so I don't have any idea what that is from, but I admire the amount of work that went into that.
Yohsho Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 You know I watch a whole lotta anime and I still don't know who it is. Little hint plz.
Effect Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 I don't have a clue and I like think I watch a lot of different anime.

Or possibly Four from Z. Edited August 22, 2003 by Commander McBride
cwmodels Posted August 22, 2003 Author Posted August 22, 2003 Okay...Okay... Here is a Hint: NOT a Gundam character.
Yohsho Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 I would guess Aura from .hack but it somehow doesn't look like her.
EXO Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 Nice, Chi! Is that sculpey on Epoxy putty? No idea who it is!
Sebastian Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 I watch a LOT LOOOOT of anime and I have not a clue who that little girl is. Well also my memorie SUCKS.
Valkyrie Hunter D Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 That character looks real familiar, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
robsthingies Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 uhm maybe from battle angel alita or something ??(it was called like that was it not? )
UN Spacy Posted August 23, 2003 Posted August 23, 2003 Are we going to get anymore guesses? I was going to say Ed from Cowboy Bebop. But for some reason it reminds me of a character from one of Rumiko Takahashi's works.
cwmodels Posted August 25, 2003 Author Posted August 25, 2003 Well... I guess the character is a bit obscure for people to recognize. The character is Abel from GAOGAIGAR Final OVA series. Originally the leader of the Red Planet and creator of the J-Ark, she appears in the OVA as the leader of the 11 Sol Planet Master. She may look 10 years old but she is much more than that!
Blaine23 Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 Now that I've seen the pic I recognize. Excellent work, cw.
Smut Peddler Posted September 1, 2003 Posted September 1, 2003 Damn, nice work there. That looks great.
UN Spacy Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 I can't wait to see how the rest of the project goes. You sculpted the piece very well and the molding of the eye looks damned good too. Keep it up! B)
Yohsho Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 Very well done. That reminds me, that I need to watch Gaogaigar.
cwmodels Posted April 20, 2005 Author Posted April 20, 2005 Figure is finally done! More pics can be found here: http://www.hobbyfanatics.com/gallery/view_...mName=album1003 You and see the building progress here: http://www.hobbyfanatics.com/index.php?showtopic=5609
Radd Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 A most excellent piece of work. I haven't seen Final yet, but I'm hoping Central Anime will go right into it once they finish fansubbing the regular series.
wolfx Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 She may look 10 years old but she is much more than that! That's always the excuse they give to show a half naked underaged kid on TV. Anyway, very nice scratch build!
polidread Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 wow! what is she made of? the gray stuff when the figure wasnt painted yet, i mean and where is that metal bar and wood platform stuck to (!!!) ?
Zentrandude Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 wow! what is she made of? the gray stuff when the figure wasnt painted yet, i meanand where is that metal bar and wood platform stuck to (!!!) ? dirty mind
cwmodels Posted April 22, 2005 Author Posted April 22, 2005 wow! what is she made of? the gray stuff when the figure wasnt painted yet, i meanand where is that metal bar and wood platform stuck to (!!!) ? She's made out of sculpy and epoxy putty. The gray stuff is primer paint. It coats the model before painting. And the metal rod sticks into....
