    I just want to say two things... 1.Concerning the rank issue. The person we are talking about didn't get demoted He was relieved of his command, and was intended to serve as first officer under an admiral. 2.Kronos is the official english spelling of klingonese Qo'noS both in universe and out. This dates back to The Undiscovered Country film. A similar concept would be in english Germany with it in German Deutchland.

    I have to strongly disagree with this concerning the nazi nuclear program, and the Horton. First of all, while the Germans were pioneers in nuclear science the actual Nazi program was a mess. It was underfunded, primitive, and phycisists who should have been involved in it were diverted away into conscription to fight as soldiers on the front lines. By 1942 Hitler was informed it would take 15 to 20 years before they could get an A-bomb, so he cut resources again to go to other weapons projects, and the nuclear program itself shifted its focus to energy production. By 1945 they had one barely working hazardous prototype reactor, that in no way could produce the amount of material needed to make an A-bomb. Much of the heavy water the nazi's were gathering went to said reactor just to make it work as they were using a flawed system. The Germans just didn't have the massive resources in terms of knowledge, manpower, and material to replicate anything near the level of the Manhatten project.As for the Horton HO 229, two months would not have made a difference. If it went into production, it would have suffered the same issues the 262 had with scarce fuel supplies, unreliable engines, and lack of skilled pilots. It would also be worth mentioning that at this point reliable allied jet fighters flown by well trained experience pilots would also be joining the front lines. That being said, Soviet Russia did help bring a quicker end to the war through their stand at Stalingrad.

    You really need to keep two things in mind concerning Kirk and Spock in this series of films. Unlike TOS Kirk this one didn't have his father to mentor and guide him to make him the man he became. This Kirk has been forced to fend for himself for most of his life, and that includes taking stupid risks. Spock on the other hand lost not only his home planet, but his mother too and is still bothered by it. In his postion I would feel lost, dazed, and confused too.

    Just got back from seeing it. GREAT FILM! Very enjoyable. Those of you who freaked over the spoilers need to remove the phasers set on bitch from your blackholes.

    I'm on vacation and getting ready to see the midnight showing. As I speak there are exactly two other people here in the theater with me. Two women to be specific.

    That would be nice, except for the fact that it most likely never happened, and if it did it wasn't a "major koenig" of some elite german sniper school as nobody with that name existed in the german army as a sniper. Much of Zaytsev's record is questionable given the time frame of his appearence in the battle of Stalingrad. Its possible the red army wanted a sniper to overshadow Finland's Simo Hayha who had embaressed them during the winter war for propaganda purposes.

Also given your abject disgust of anything of a sexual nature versus taking extreme pleasure in ultra violence tells me you might have some issues you might need to see a psycologist for.

    Right, so I'm an idiot for being honest and not being impressed by a crappy shuttle disaster teaser trailer made by a guy whose other movie I couldn't care less for either. And for the record I am not comparing Bay to Mr Melodrama Alfonso Cuaron, I'm just saying that there is a very similar scene in Armageddon where a space shuttle with astronauts EVA gets shredded by a meteor and that's what this trailer is exactly like. Neither makes me want to sit down and watch either film.

    What? Its like someone took the first 2 minutes of Armageddon and decided to make a two hour movie of it. Quite frankly there's really not much of plot they can make with what we saw. Unless aliens magically show up to the rescue all those astronauts are dead, so we probly get some stupid flashback about how the woman became an astronaut as she halucinates slowly aspyxiating to death or burning up on re-entry.

    They have access to DYRL mecha, but not the show. In the recent past they've already released toys of DYRL mecha including strike pack variants.

    I picked up some interesting stuff at the comic store today.... HGUC Gutank 08th MS EZ8 Char's Counterattack alpha Aizeru 1/550 scale HG hardgraph Zaku II vs Type 61's ground war set While its not Gundam I you all might appreciate I picked up a original 1/100 Walker Machine Xabungle. Funny thing is I didn't realize untill now looking at the kit that I had a cheap bootleg toy of it as a kid with Macross and SDF-1 markings. Go figure!

    I started rewatching Rune Soldier Louie. Great little series with some pretty funny humor. It's still a little odd knowing this lighthearted series takes place in the same world as Lodoss War though.

    What would you recommend for a votoms toy that's not over $100? Size is also an issue so it can't be too big, maybe something around 10 inchs would be the limit for my shelf.

    A foreign market for film is what ever place a film is showed that wasn't its country of origin.
