  1. I've said it elsewhere, but I'll say it again. This trailer has to be one of the most generic looking things I have ever seen. Might as well have called it... Chronicles of Star Dune Episode 1: Return of the Avatar Riddick and the Rings of Jupiter Ascending.😝
  2. It made it's debut at OshKosh a couple weeks ago, and people seemed shocked it didn't crash then.
  3. I picked up the Black Knight's Castle set from a Bricks And Minifigs store in Monroe Washington. I paid $150 for it complete without minifigs. Considering how much the set is going for on places like ebay with kits in worse shape I think I got quite a deal.
  4. Hammerhead's in the first two were hilarious. The first pair just wanted tires. That's it. Calypso was just too dumbfounded to twist their wish. The second pair wished they could fly...then jumped out a window right before Calypso was going to give them plane tickets.
  5. You would be correct. The clown's name was Needles Kane. In the first game the Cabbie driving the taxi Yellow Jacket was his father, Charles Kane. His ending is kind of depressing as he enters the tournament to find his missing son only for Calypso to tell him they already have reunited in the tournament and his son was the clown driving the ice cream truck. Charles Kane gets brought back along with Sweet Tooth by Calypso in Twisted Metal 2 as the boss Dark Tooth seeking revenge on when you kill Sweet Tooth at a certain point in this game.
  6. It's a helmet. Range Vipers are essentially supposed to be relentless survival experts than manage to survive the most hostile environments with little to no resources hence the "zombie look." One of the Joe's survival experts, Ambush has an exgirlfriend named Evy who is a Range Viper and is show without her helmet. Multiple episodes show other range vipers without the zombie helmets.
  7. According to the director himself... "Japan was at zero immediately post war and then Godzilla strikes to hit an already devastated society at it's lowest taking them below zero to a new level of desperation, a minus one."
  8. Yeah, I didn't quite get it until you did that, and then I remembered what the original R2-D2 looked like.😆
  9. I don't think Kenner ever made an E-Wing. The only toys made were a galoob action fleet one, and a Lego release that was called Jek 14's stealth starfighter.
  10. This looks like an even crappier version of that crappy show Blood Drive that came out a few years back. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if some of the same people were behind both.
  11. Yeah... Midnight's Edge isn't exactly the standard of impartiality. They had some interesting analysis of the leaked Sony e-mails a few years ago, but since then they've devolved into a glossier less offensive version of Doomcock that deals in the same rumor mongering and pandering. I will say this, whoever green lit this film's script with $300 million budget needs to be fired. You need to either have the greatest Indy film next to Raiders or Last Crusade or a spectacle the level of Avatar to put that much money into a film, and sadly Dial of Destiny is neither. It's not even on Temple Of Doom's level. There is no way in hell this is making it's money back at the box office. For the amount of money spent on this(with as bad as the cgi looked) putting out a "meh" just okay at best film is not good enough. For those that saw it, I have a question...
  12. Closest we had to zombies was the Synthoid Conspiracy two parter where Shipwreck was kidnapped by Cobra and made to believe the war was over and he had been in a coma for ten years. All the people he talked to were synthetic clones that turned to goo when heated up. They end up chasing him zombie horde style at one point.
  13. There are probably better ways to promote a Twisted Metal tv series than using a thumbnail where Sweet Tooth appears to be bending someone over.
  14. I still don't know why those things exist in the first place. Why bother with a figure that has less articulation and worse paint aps than the original figures they are based on?
  15. You should see his version from the comic books of the the original 80s-90s run. The guy literally had half of Cobra that was disloyal to him(including his own son) buried under a mountain with a cache of rations with the orders to dig themselves out to prove they deserved to live. He had the rations poisoned before hand so anyone that did manage to escape would die anyway. That is if they weren't executed the second they reached the surface.
  16. So does this mean we get to see more of the wannabe Betty Paige hookstress suicide girls that run the phone switchboards? 😆
  17. Yeah...no. The last thing I think I or anyone else wants to see is that species of BDSM kinksters with a fetish for body mods, armed with Cobra-La's bioweapons from the animated GI Joe movie, with a jihad extremists' outlook toward technology, and a certain Austrian Corporal's view on "living space" in the galaxy to grace live action.
  18. The main story sucked anyway, you're better off doing all the side quests and activities.
  19. I enjoyed this one quite a bit, it was quite fun and irreverent at times which makes it a stark contrast to pretty much all the DC film universes so far and a blast to watch. Shame it's not doing well at the box office.
  20. I saw the trailer tonight when I went to see Shazam: Fury Of The Gods and we'll to honest, the best parts of the trailer were the ones Ezra Miller weren't in. Just hearing him talk is so cringe worthy, I can't help but wonder who cast this guy and what dirt he had on them as leverage to get the part.
  21. Kasdan is a hack writer and only got to where he is due to sheer nepotism. Nothing he has ever worked on has ever risen above mediocrity. His biggest success was writing for Dawson's Creek, the prototypical "CW" whiny angst teen melodrama show which is basically what the Willow tv series became instead of the light hearted medieval adventure series it should have been. It needed more swords and sorcery adventure like the original movie and less talking about feelings in dark hallways. If you think Jon Kasdan is going to improve in a hypothetical season 2 just because he gave us a couple decent episodes at the tail end of Willow's first season you'll be sadly mistaken.
  22. I'm feeling pretty gutted. Leiji Matsumoto was far and away one of my favorite sci-fi manga and anime creators. Still, I think we can all take solace in the fact he lived a full rich life on his terms and along the way brought entertainment and happiness to thousands of not millions of people world wide. 🏴‍☠️ 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️ 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️ 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️ 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️
  23. My thoughts exactly. Apart from the well done funeral and tribute to Chadwick Boseman this film felt like an exercise in why absolute monarchies absolutely suck. The plot of this film literally revolves around latin Hitler with his chosen superior race fighting black Stalin with her utter disregard for her own people because they both have "family" issues, can't deal with loss, and are both utterly self absorbed narcissists. Oh yeah, and they both despise anyone that isn't from Wakanda or Atlantis. Which is why Namor is fighting Wakanda... So he can weaken them enough that the rest of the world will gang up on them forcing them into an alliance with Atlantis so he can go to war with the rest of the world. Yeah....talk about convoluted. Speaking of the rest of the world, the movie opens with trying to portray countries like the US and France as bad for attempting to steal vibranium from Wakandan research centers using spec ops forces. This leads the Queen to make a scathing speech about territorial sovereignty and respecting Wakanda according to international law. The problem is you really can't blame other countries for not trusting Wakanda over hoarding vibranium. Yeah they helped stop Thanos, but the entire time before that they were violating territorial sovereignty of other nations, commiting espionage, King T'Chaka commiting murder in LA, shaming the rest of the world into sign the Sokovian accords all while hiding a super powered being of their own, and nearly starting World War III when Killmonger briefly took power. And then this movie does almost all that in microcosm including adding in freeing a double agent in the CIA that was spying for Wakanda and leaking information after he was arrested and heading to prison. So much for respecting international law an sovereignty right?
