  1. That can't be legit.... Then again Brazzers did get in trouble for sneaking onto the BBC set to shoot a scene with the Tardis and dr who props, and gyanko does look like Madison Ivy but last I heard she was bed ridden recovering from a car accident that tore her stomach open. poor girl.
  2. I actually am going to address this at the begining of the panel, and the answer is no. There are so many games out there I had to narrow down the criteria to mecha with pilots, no robots or cyborgs, and focus of the majority of the game needs to be on mecha combat. games that have mecha for one or two levels, or like the mgs games that mostly have mecha in the background or as bosses I decided to cut. Does that make any sense?
  3. It was for the original xbox, and I think the reason it was never imported was the enemies were mostly US soldiers just following the Vice president not evil henchmen. I think companies might have been worried about that not sitting well. Anyways hows this for a hidden gem, Ring Of Red? A mecha tactical rpg set in an alternate 1950s Japan that was split between the soviets and americans. I liked the fact it account for combined arms with infantry supporting the mechs, but the battles took forever with the aiming mechanic.
  4. I forgot about R.A.D. despite owning it. I'm on mecha overload right now. already got cyberbots and armored warriors.
  5. got em already along with metal mech, formation z, final zone, xardion, battleclash, metal combat, and vortex. what are some good mech games from the 32-64 bit era aside from omega boost, armored core, and virtual on?
  6. alright guys I'm working on my video game mech panel for animeboston, and want to know if there's any video games you think are good, classics, guilty pleasures, or ground breaking that I should include. what I got so far. assault suits series metal warriors battletech games first macross game and scrambled valk first gundam game front mission thexder musha aleste
  7. Any word on a RG RGM-79 GM yet? One has got to be comming soon.
  8. Well I really did it this time. All four panels I submitted for Anime Boston got accepted. Coming AB2015 Kancolle:The weapons behind the women! I already know there's going to be another Kancolle panel dedicated to the anime and game. This one though is going to be about the historical ships they're based, the battles they fought, how they stack up to other navies ships, and the pacific naval campaign altogether. The Beargguy is a mobile suit from the Gundam Build Fighters anime. The Bruinsguy is a model kit of the Beargguy I'm doing a custom paint/decal job based on the Boston Bruins hockey team. Its something I've been meaning to do for a long time since before last years AB, but life and the rarity of the kit has been getting in the way so it might not be ready.
  9. So.... Batman doesn't win unless Superman saves his arse? Sure they make nice videos, but I've never liked Super Power Beatdown mostly because of how the winner is selected through voting popularity. At least Deathbattle uses logic and known facts about abilities to decide the winner. Lets face it this Vader vs Batman fight should have only lasted 30 seconds with Vader choking the b**** which is why they had to give Batman a lightsaber and toss Superman in too.
  10. then the Flash OVAs as they are more or less a reboot.
  11. I just finished a GMII myself last week. Its definately a superior tooled kit to the previous GM's like the cold district type I built before it. If there was any complaint it was that the sensor stickers are tiny, and the nooks you need to fit them in even smaller.
  12. You could always finish those T61 tanks from the land war set.
  13. The schedule hasn't been released yet, so neither Veef nor I know when our panels will be, which has me a little worried since there are definately some panels and events I want to take in this year like the ones featuring the Godzilla suit actors. If you go on sunday be warned there really isn't much going on , its mostly a day for scrambling around in the dealers room looking for last minute items. There is one panel I do like on that day, and its called Building Gundams with Overnight Security. Its mostly just an informal get together of the security crew who are just coming of their watch and fellow gundam heads to mostly show off what they got at the con and try to slap something together in the hour or so we have. Its usually pretty fun, and its where I got my "Sei's dad" nickname. Ever since the panel started I've been bring extra kits for people who didn't bring any, and helping with assembly.
  14. David Fincher had his hands tied by the studio and Weaver's "I don't want to do this anymore kill Ripley" creative control.Jean Paul Jeunet is frenchman with a limited english vocabulary known mostly for comedic surrealist films that never should have EVER been allowed near this franchise. If you're refering to Prometheus lets face it, there was nothing wrong with the acting or cinematography. The blame falls squarely on Ridley Scott getting BSed into a bad script by a guy who was at the time Hollywood's big hot ticket writer. At least this time it appears Blomkamp has some creative control along with directing.
  15. Game over man? Hell No, we just hit the reset button!
  16. When cutting a piece from the sprue then filing it down, how do you guys get rid of the... nub mark? Is that the term for it? The discolored spot left from the gate?
  17. I've been dragged down too much lately when it comes to death and mourning. First my ex boss, then a former employee, and now Leonard Nemoy. I'm tired of it so with Mr. Spock I'm going to celebrate his life and the joy he brought us all by highlighting moments like this: Rest in peace Mr Spock.
  18. Hmmmm...... This... This... And this pretty much sums up how I feel so far about this.
