Wanted to check out STO again, looked at the patching issues, installed and played Bridge Commander. Holy crap now that's immersive, even with graphics from 10 years ago. The voice acting is marvellous.

HCI and UX is my field at the moment and I'm currently teaching postgrad students at the uni on these subjects(usability engineering and user interface design). You won't believe how much crap we UX engineers give metro...particularly love the fact that windows returned the start button in 8.1 and it connects to the....metro interface. Genius trolling.- 7114 replies

YAMATO VF-1A - DYRL Hayao Kakizaki Weathered Edition - Question
raptormesh replied to Astro_BS-AS's topic in Toys
10-15% on top of HLJ's price isn't bad at all. Shipping itself maybe more than that. -
YAMATO VF-1A - DYRL Hayao Kakizaki Weathered Edition - Question
raptormesh replied to Astro_BS-AS's topic in Toys
You mean this? No harm. Is your proxy more expensive than getting it from HLJ +shipping+customs? -
Didn't like the muv-luv show but this I fancy. Cup of coffee?

I'd imagine the accordion doors are less robust and more points of failure what with more hinges. -
Don't forget the overwing boosters. Like a boss.

Lol that video looks entirely like an imperial propaganda reel. But yes, Wraith Squadron please!

Good spot, that's actually pretty neat. Seems VTOL will only be used to move them around in a FAB and won't be used operationally. Can't wait to see roos on these babies. Australia is moving towards drones and EW capabilities so we may use these to guide in standoff EW drones. Would be pure sex. I have already fallen in love with the Grizzlies. Way more interesting than plain jane fighters. -
Thanks for embarking on this project. The world is a better now for that. /kowtow

The only easily legit place to get it now is via PSN. There are also releases for the original playstation but those can be hard to find I'm afraid. VI is my favourite FF, story is unsurpassed imo.- 7114 replies

That's a beautiful bird Kurisama congrats. The paint looks very real world compared to the anti hero valks.

Nope I ended up using EMS as I was purchasing another bulky item and they wouldn't fit small packet service. Will transform it in a bit.

Star Trek Into Darkness, in theaters May 17, 2013
raptormesh replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I usually avoid 3d on normal screens but am hooked on IMAX. Curiously there are theatres that claims to have IMAX 3d but their screens are only slightly bigger than normal "extreme" screens. Some research on your local IMAX would be a good idea.- 1020 replies

It's about 5x better in IMAX, especially if yours has an enormous screen. Sit the middle and cackle with gleeeeeeee. It's almost like you're in space. I might just watch the Pacific Rim in IMAX too.- 1020 replies

Just got my second from amiami and there seems to be a tiny(raised) gap between the pauldrons and the chest plate in fighter mode. Is this normal? Don't recall having this on my first.

I rather think it's just an unguided rocket. Which is pointless unless the drone is a suicide bomber.
