It pays to be a good long time customer, I may not live in L.A. anymore but my old Hobby shop still treats me right, Initially I only ordered the MK-VII Viper and another Galactica kit. When UPS came today the box looked awfully big, when I opened it there was a VIPER MKII included, the kit was delivered to the Hobby shop all bashed up and they wrote it off as a loss and was considered a "Throw away, in the trash item". Instead a free bonus gift!!!! The box isn't pretty but the model is all intact in its plastic baggies! Now I just need my lighting kit and complete this new BSG.

Heres a few shots of the Galactica with pods retracted, theres a few gaps to still fill in and you basically have to cut a lot of plastic out from the kit so they'll fit, but looks awesome, just think the Adama Maneuver! Also thats Adama's Valkyrie Battlestar, not the greatest resin kit, but its pretty good, wish it cam with the right decals.

Nice Galactica so far electric indigo!! Are you doing a standard clean build or will this one include a lighting kit or even battle damaged? Just curious as I ordered another BSG and was considering lighting mine up, I converted my 1st one into FTL mode with the landing pods retracted.

Anne is a very good actress and I don't think Nolan would have chosen her if he didn't think she could nail the role. Her costume looks good and as far as the Mask & ears go, I'm going to the theater open minded knowing Chris Nolan isn't going to make her a lame character. Also in still photos provided through azrael's link, its funny to see Christian Bale in his Batman suit smiling and goofing around, so out of place but still awesome!

Its been pretty much said already, awesome character designs (Its Haruhiko Mikimoto!!), the Mecha is great, battles are fun to watch and music is really cool too. But a weak story, you can tell by the animation either they were behind schedule or on a shoe string budget at times, Episode 5 is awesome and yet the final episode has some really bad scenes in it. (Especially Nexx in the Metal Siren) The english dub isn't to bad, just watch in Japanese with subtitles.... its far more enjoyable. Should Yamato make 1/60 toys of the VF-2JA, VF-2SS+SAP, Destroids & the Mac Cannons.... YES!!

If you rob the bank, grab enough $$$ for me too! I'll take a VF-11D as well as another version of the VF-11B, maybe this one has the fast packs or different decals as Dobber pointed out.
