Yamato did screw up their customers big time for attaching the misleading "Optional Parts Included" bend on the box.

It's the first time that I see Yamato let the "T" crotch unfinished on an assembled toy. Maybe they have started doing that, but how are the crotches on your 30th 1S, paint matched or metal? Or only the Cavaliers has unfinished crotch like the kit?

The dyrl CF is not in the standard off white like the other dyrl valkyries, it's more like a creamy beige. Love it nonetheless.

They should have just left out the blue band label and ONLY put the round 30th Ann. sticker.

I was thinking this when we talked about the 80s box art. or this

Yup...It's really funny that Yamato released more custom schemes on 1/48, but never milked their moulds much on the V2 1/60 which they do have more official schemes from TV and Dyrl though.

It's the same pilot seen in CF-1J.
-
It's from Hobbysearch.

There is another one under the nose cone, so I guess those are used when those sections are folded together in battroide mode? It'd be cool too if they use that to store gunpod.

Yeah, you are right. I just received a payment acknowledgement for the dyrl CF-1A and Cavaliers. I guess your CF DYRL will be processed too.
-
Do you have the dyrl CF-1A in preorder too? My CF-1A shows "discontinued", and I hope it's not case like the VF-1D is repeating now. I'm so close to hit the button now.

It's a resin prototype, I have never seen any existing released 1/60 Yamato Valkyries can't do what you said.

Those were seen in the Virgin Road episode, but it's just a painted example of the VF-1D's kit.

I can't wait to see this on my hands and not my computer.

Yes, that is what it says.

Same situation here.

I don't know, I just don't see it from the pictures. Maybe they didn't snap a picture of it, and hopefully that's the case.

I'm glad that the dyrl CF 1A is in off white color. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10186703

I guess many will be disappointed without option parts, but I am digging it. The color looks fine.

I think the SD VF-1S from Metal box is pretty sweet, it now has the strike parts. It looks nice with the Hasegawa, which I saw some guys made some awesome kits on toysdaily. http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-187423-1-1.html -
I'd say yes if this came from Hasegawa, but it's all wrong in scale considering it's from Yamato.
-
I wish they do, maybe Graham has influence on that when he realized that the leg armors have to be removed. The prototype back then don't have the extra hinge.
