    I wonder if it's true that the licence does limit to the form of finished product that Hasegawa only has the licence to do aircraft (which they are the top notch manufacturer), but Bandai has the licence to do transforming mecha?

    I do remember I had one of these back in the days as a kid, it's a bootleg version come with 3 in a pack, 1S, 1A and 1J. I got myself these because I can't afford the 1/100 Takatoku's....1/55 Takatoku was a dream....lol

    It's not real time, you should be fine as long as you receive order confirmation email. The item will only show up in your account after the email confirmation.

    Seriously I like the rainbow canopy on the first release.

    Seen that picture before, but it's like a car with giant storage compartment cases mounted on each side of the vehicle. You'd have to tilt your storage case in order to open the doors for entrance. Again, we don't need logic in anime, it drools with its own anime magic.

    The 2-seater option parts is a major design flaw, the pilot would have crushed and killed instantly if they were trying to get out of the aircraft in battroid mode with that huge radar dome on top.

    It's called price merchandising, almost every online store now does that.

    It will cost you about 45 bucks these days for EMS from HK to US, but most HK sellers tend to charge you EMS rate but have the package shipped as normal air parcel. Either way, the cost will turn out pretty close to NY but you get EMS shipping from NY.

    15 years ago people were paying $300~$400 for used Takatoku Chunky Monkey in crappy boxes, the Super VF-1S fetched up to $1,500. The last 5 years has been good with Yamato's releases.

    yeah, you'd never know. The previous web exclusive Angel birds and VF-X ended up everywhere on ebay and most major online stores in Japan.

    I've had that experience before, straight from the box but the flap was not even there. Luckily the seller manage to find me a back pack for replacement. This is the 2nd weak joint after the shoulders on V2. Make sure your back pack hinge is still there, mine was snapped off so the flap fell some where.

    I like the weathered version on these 1/60 scale VF-1 and Destroids, the 1/48 are a bit overkill.
