    Ah well. Unless I can find those specific parts, I may as well just buy another PF version. You know, so I can have one in attack mode.

    @derex3592 you old fart, your did a fantastic job! You're making think of actually making the time to detail up my old Yamato version instead of possibly selling it off for another PF version. May I ask where you got the 01 and 02 decals for the ARMDs? If I could get those two specific decals, that would probably tip my decision in favor of keeping it.

    Hmmm I hadn't thought of seeing if any good camera apps exist that will allow me to make long, low light exposures. Time to look into that. Thanks Saburo! Still want to see your pics though!

    HOLY ****!!! And having to depend on NY's customer service to resolve this is even worse! Oh man I hope they actually do something to fix the issue instead of some useless canned response. This sh** ain't cheap!! Let us know what they say. I was seriously thinking of buying a second one from NY but I think I'll wait and see how this plays out first.

    Ohhh looking forward to seeing your low light pics to really show off the glow in the dark effect. Sadly, my camera phone does not have the exposure options needed to really capture how it looks in low light.

    If you just need some inexpensive lodging nearby, you can try Airbnb. While I would never use it here in the States, in the Japan Airbnb hosts keep their places impeccably clean. There's a bunch within walking distance of Akihabara. Also, your first stop in Akihabara should be the Mandarake branch there. But there's tons of toy stores so you have lots of choices... just remember to bring your passport as some shops will waive the consumption tax.

    Opened up the Sentinel ride armor (or whatever the official designation is supposed to be). It's my first Mospeada toy since I lost my "Scott Bernard Cyclone" sometime in the late 80s. Gotta say, it's fantastic! The only thing I don't like is the visor. It looks like a jack-o-lantern face. Gonna need to strip the paint from it to make it passable. I'm going to be very disappointed if Sentinel doesn't make all the ride armors. I especially want the red one. On a side note, I got the payment request for Ray the day after I shipped out my PW. Goddammit Sentinel (or HLJ)!

    I dunno, I chose to start on a very expensive and hard to replace Yamato VF-4 back then lol More experienced now, and am dissatisfied with all the screwups I made on it. BTW still eagerly awaiting more progress updates on the your current projects.

    Glad to hear Amiami has improved their CS. I've been fortunate and never had any problems that needed CS assistance from them.

    You know he's a hardcore collector when, after getting the renewals, he kept the original terrible V1 Frontier toys on display instead of selling them or chucking them in the trash.

    Detolfs are not the best cabinets around, but they're decent enough and they are excellent bang for the buck. I got all my Detolfs at my local Ikea for $59 each. It's also pretty cheap and easy to rig some LED lights in them. Couple of random shots of my hastily rigged Detolfs.

    Alto's 25 and 29 super parts have sold for more than the actual valkyrie for years now. Let's not even mention the armored parts. As someone else noted this is why you should order web exclusives when you have the chance, even if you don't have the main unit, or else you're going to pay a lot more later.

    I wasn't asking about the movie titles since you just said V.2 Vader. I wanted to know which was the newer release, the episode 4 or 6 Figuarts Vader. That's what I wanted know. Thanks!
