That was several years ago so it'll be hazy for most of us, as it would have been in the wee hours of the morning. However it did come back in stock a bunch of times so getting one wasn't that hard. The 31A was a TWE so there was no late night PO madness. The worst preorders were the Frontier renewals. You know how HS sells out in the blink of an eye? Every shop was like that back then.

Hmmm maybe I can scale up the Hasegawa decal sheet to fix Shinsei on it... Unless Hasegawa also spelled it like Bandai.

Whether or not Bandai gets to Macross Plus with the HMR line will pretty much depend entirely on sales. So if you want an HMR YF-19 someday, keep buying more from the line!

Probably some of that along with the high price and Macross Plus is a really old show that was way more popular outside Japan than in.

This was one of the easiest Macross preorders I've seen in ages. Even got through the spinning wheels of death at NY but stopped short after deciding I didn't need 4. Grats to everyone who got one (or more)! Now we wait for the next crazy PO night.

Got a 31S and YF-19 at HS, but I usually can't get in order in there. You have to be lightning fast. They're a smaller operation than HLJ or AmiAmi so they probably presell far fewer units.

Sure that seems like a fair trade. Whoops accidentally ordered a third one from AmiAmi. Guess I'll sell a VF-19 Advance... Oh well, off to sleep work now.

Yeah that's why I did it. Originally added "if that's your real name" at the end lol Yeah they're still open which is why I was worried it might turn into a 25S situation. I think some old-timers remember that one...

18:00 Japan time, which is 5:00 Eastern. HLJ opened preorders about 5 minutes early.

For peeps putting in multiple orders at HLJ, be sure you immediately cancel any duplicates if they show up in your order list otherwise HLJ will lock your account.
