I sold all my Yamato VF-1s before the DX 1J came out because they were obsolete.

You'll have to use the DX adapter designed for the Sv-262 because the 1/48 DX stand connector has an extra large base like the Sv-262's. Even then the fit isn't perfect, but it works.

Thanks. I appreciate the engineering behind the VF-31 series more every time I try to pose a VF-25, with their floppy joints and comparatively limited range of motion. But I do love the way they look once you wrestle them into position.

Must have that Regult Scout and Tomahawk. BS if it's bundled with Roy's VF-1S. It's not even a TV version.

Lower light pic. Impressed she can stand on her own, though the ankles collapsed from the weight when I tried to extend them to get a greater range of motion.

Super late to the party, but I finally got around to putting the armored parts on my 31S. Man, she's big and heavy. Looks nice, but I still like the VF-25 armored parts more.

Images work fine for me. Problem's on your end. Anyway, images show another Cap, another Iron Spider, another Iron Man 85, and Rescue. Hmmm maybe I'll get that Iron Spider just for the nano gauntlet.

Bought myself a DSLR which should arrive in a few days. In the meantime, I've been tinkering with background and lighting in preparation for my new camera. I've become dissatisfied with the quality of phone cameras by comparison. The very first valkyrie I ever worked on: Testing 1J again. Hmmm background was supposed to be a darker blue, but with lights on it's super bright.

Just because the VF-11 requires less overall material doesn't mean Bandai is going to pass the savings onto consumers. They'll still charge the same price as the others in the line. And as someone already mentioned, the materials don't make up the majority of the cost, i.e. it's not like the workers assembling them are going to work for less or packaging and shipping will be cheaper.

So does it come with a red skull 001 or 011? Only one set in the box.

Looks good. I'm in. I'm hoping they make it a full set pack with fold booster, but knowing Bandai they'll just make it compatible with the fold booster that came with the 19 and make you track down a YF-19 on the aftermarket.

I'll be in Japan during that time. Maybe I can nab one from a brick & mortar somewhere (though experience tells me probably not).

That's the plan. Been looking at different entry level DSLRs to see which is best for a tightwad like myself. When I see pics from the masters like @Saburo or @Kuma Style I think "man, my pics look like dog crap."
