    IDK what your exchange rate against the Yen looks like right now but in dollars that's a very fair deal ($303.36US). The last one out of Mandrake went for 32,000Y ($246.27US). No telling what the next one they list will go for though. Mandrake Link. Looks like the least expensive one on Yahoo Auctions is 44,000Y ($348.48US). I can't remember the last time I saw a DX VF-1 on here, Facebook, etc going for $300ish. So your choice is to get the one out of CD Japan or roll the dice one will come up for less money on the open market or Mandrake in the future. One in the hand vs two in the bush and all that.

    With the economy going the way it is and Macros stuff more plentiful I think their crack budgets will diminish. They may need to switch over to huffing glue.

    I think this is mostly down to the economy. And secondarily the GBP not boing the huge draw that other releases are. Mostly the economy though. Every release since the Focker has not has as much demand/been available longer for less money than the ones that proceeded it. The scalpers are taking it in the pants for the past couple years. They're sitting on a ton of inventory that simply just didn't sell like past releases did. I just picked a new MISB Focker with Super Parts out of JP for retail plus shipping. The seller had 10+ of them. Hopefully this puts a dent in the scalping market long term.

    Agreed. The could pay off the big picture. But unfortunately these days shows don't seem to last very long. The streaming business model is get people to sign up with the lurer of new shiny shows. Only the truly outstanding shows will see a 3rd or 4th season. And the second season of a lot of shows aren't even half of what the first season was. I don't blame the business model. Their job is to make money. But I get a feeling that corporate culture is to go all in on season 1 without a ton of thought to what they're going to do with season 2......because in a lot of cases they don't get one. Or the budget is cut and they just produce filler. All that said I would love to see a season 2 where all of the little sub plots come together and the big picture is revealed in detail.

    Not as bad as Lost......but Lost-y. I agree with all of the sub plots that you refer to being good or interesting. It's not like the show was horrible. But... There were a lot of sub plots that went nowhere. And most importantly the overall arching plot is a big fat WHAT IS GOING ON?!?! To me the season was a big fat build up to a nothingburger. Of course, if there is a season 2 I will watch it looking for the payoff. Which is probably all part of Amazon's evil plan to implant Alexa in my brain.

    Outer Range can eat my shorts. They did that thing where they make a show that doesn't make any sense and has no payoff and try to pass it off as mysterious.

    One episode left to watch of Outer Range. Just as I suspected everything has been a slow buildup to the big reveal in the last episode (which I will watch tonight). The big reveal better be incredible or I'm going to be ticked off. I hate it when they don't pay slow seasons off very well. From would be a good example of that.

    HUGE bummer. I have a Yamato 1/300 SDF-1 Assembly Kit going together and it's missing two of the metal "hip" pieces. So, Short of buying a standard finish Arcadia toy (and crossing my fingers they are the same) I'm hosed. And even then, still hosed. The least expensive one I can find is $900. I got on Arcadia's site and tried to send them an email seeing if they had any of those hips laying around. Or if they could send me files so I could machine or 3D print them. But, I can't get their contact form to work. In the second set of name fields (below) it's asking for Katakana. Which Google is not to clear on what I need to be doing. I tried putting my name in Google Translate, but that didn't work. And without those fields filled in it won't send the message. -Anyone know how I can get those fields filled with what I want? -Or, does anyone have their actual email address? Thanks

    That doesn't apply to things you pay for that have sub par quality. That is intended to be used for life in general (family, health, good job, etc). I don't. Fun fact: This forum/ thread is about more than Sentinel Ride Armors. ---------------------------------------------------------------- You clearly love your Ride Armors. I'm happy for you. I wish I was. Notice no on is "taking you to task" for liking what you like. That is your opinion/assessment and you're entitled to it. It's only fair that people complaining about the Ride Armors be given the same respect. Our opinion/assessments are valid, this is Macross World where complaining about the smallest detail is par for the course and frankly those complaining have a more tangible argument. Their quality is lacking. There is absolutely no debate that. Your argument is "your happy". Again, a valid argument, but not something that you can measure or asses. For example: "That blue whale is 79ft long" vs "That whale looks really big to me". Everyone here has a right to their assessment/ opinion and that goes both ways.
