Oh, so you did use SAL. I suggest that next time you buy a Valkyrie worth $300, use EMS since SAL's insurance if you did use Registered SAL is just Y6000. That's only 1/5th of the amount you paid. Atleast with EMS, it's Y20000. Just sharing. Or you could sand the antennae a little bit, if you're not too picky, just to the point that it will give you clearance when the tail wings are folded. I'm actually planning on doing that when I start decaling my VF-1's.

Which box you're referring that was beat up? The shipping box or the item box? From what I know with Nippon-Yasan, they bubble wrap the item box and throw in some newspaper in there to fill the shipper box spaces for support and cushion. Kinda the same with AmiAmi, though AmiAmi uses more thicker box than Nippon-Yasan and uses plain paper than newspaper. Rule of thumb here is that don't expect 'mint' box esp from these shops. HLJ included. They don't care about the boxes. What their main concern is, if the item inside is intact, no damage, then for them box is just box. But once the content inside is damage thru shipping then they might help you with store credits or replacements. That depends. Besides, they will not protect it just because it is a $300 toy. They will treat it the same thing as they treat small boxed toys. For them, it's just all the same. So if you're buying a $300 toy, better use EMS or above to cover insurance too. This is based on my experience and from people who receives dinged box corners, etc.

I have a HLJ Shipping Inquiry. I know most of us in order to save a little bit of cash, we opted to use HLJ's Private Warehouse. And I've been doing this multiple times now. But after I experienced some shipping problem with Nippon-Yasan (But mind you, it wasn't NY's fault. It's USPS'.), I decided using EMS all the time just to have some peace of mind since EMS have up to Y20000 insurance, whereas Registered SAL only have Y6000. Now back to the PW option, I have atleast Y50000+ worth of items there and for me to save some I wanted to use the FedEx Economy option. Though it doesn't state in HLJ's site how much insurance does it have. (Though it states it's 19 SDR per kilogram of actual weight. In which I don't really know what it meant by 19 SDR.) And knowing that it's 'Economy', I doubt it will cover my overall total if ever there's going to be problems during transit (knock on wood). Here's HLJ's Shipping Insurance page: https://support.hlj.com/hc/en-us/articles/204070950-Shipping-Insurance However I did some estimate using the Create a Shipment method to see how much difference it's going to cost me if I ship it in 2 packages instead of 1. You know, so that each package will be covered somehow (or less) within the Y20000 EMS shipping insurance option. The difference is roughly Y2500+. Now just to max out the insurance option privileges, I need to do 3 packages instead so all of my packages will be covered exactly within the Y20000 value per EMS package. I know it's just common sense to figure this out but I guess I just need to hear some inputs or opinions since most of the toys we buy is not just simple toys but more of a high value one. Actually, I feel like this is more of a 'we save more' or 'we risk more' discussion. Anyways, thanks in advance and looking forward to everyone's inputs. -Noel

Oh. I'm not buying the premium. I'm just curious because in my eyes the left one kinda off grey looking than white. So I'm just double-checking if it's the same Arcadia release since I have the first Arcadia Hikaru with Strike Packs. Or it's just some lighting issues is all.

I liked Chuck too, Mr Cheng. Not sure why I prefer him than the other radome Valks. VE-1 Elintseeker is so VF-1 for me. RVF-25 & RVF-171 is so minty for me. (Even though RVF-171 has more white than green.) Guess it has something to do with yellow.
