  1. True. And I agree. But I really want to enjoy this hobby even just applying decals on it. The thing here also is that some of the old Valkyries I have is not Premium Finished. So waiting for Arcadia to re-release everything in Premium Finish format will take years and by then I'm probably too old to keep this hobby. So I'll try to enjoy it while it last. Lucky are those whose just starting this hobby now. You're welcome wmkjr! Let's just hope that I have enough time over the weekends to do this. But as much as possible, I'll try to apply some decals per areas every other night when I'm not too tired from work. Next part I'm trying to do tomorrow is the nosecone.

Definitely, Nippon-Yasan will have it. BigInJapan, probably. Not sure what are the other stores that holds TWE products. It's TWE so you don't need to worry if it's going to sellout quickly or not. They just have number of weeks before they close the preorders for this. The VF-2SS is a regular release so the preorder closes quickly. That's the best part when it's TWE item. You have enough time to decide whether to get it or not. The only downside is that for TWE items most of the stores ask for payment upfront.
  3. Hey David! Pass for me too. I'll probably do repaint in the future on the second one I have.
  4. Nice! I might also do a eBay route for those 1/72 waterslide decals just to get a small U.N.Spacy logo.
  5. This weekend I started applying those VF-1 waterslide decals that I bought from eBay weeks ago. I also tested my Airbrush set which I bought 4 years ago from Amazon. And to be honest, this is the first time I airbrush. I tested the airbrush for topcoating and so far I really like the outcome from the scrap kits that I have. Anyways, I noticed that the graphics on the waterslide decals that I'm using is somehow thicker than the one supplied by Arcadia on their stand-alone 1/60 VF-1S Hikaru release (12/2013), the one that came with a stand. But I still decided to use that one since I'm also going to apply the waterslide decals that I purchased for the VF-0S too. Just to make it consistent. Besides, there's none that came with the VF-0S. So that's fine for me. I'm also planning on adding some panel lines into it once the Flory Models washes arrives. So hopefully, I'll try my best to update this thread once I finish applying decals parts by parts. Note: Mods, sorry if I put this in the wrong section. But since it's just applying decals on a toy, I thought it's just safe to put it here. But feel free to move it to the proper section if ever. Thanks! So, without further ado, here it is. Here's the finished legs from this weekend (7/23/17). And to be honest, applying decals on these two legs already took me 2 hours.
  6. Actually, I got tired of waiting and decided on getting the cheapest one from Mandarake at Y11000. The last standalone release sold at YJA for Y9600, I believe. And that's without proxy and shipping fees yet. Atleast for Y11000, I got a 'free' Roy VF-1S. But seriously, this transforming toy really feels small in my hands. But somehow fits with the rest of my Gundam Robot Damashii's. Hahaha! Thanks! I got the book for Y5000 at Mandarake. I've been ignoring this book ever since and forgot to buy it when I bought all those VF books last month. So when I saw the last two copies available this month, I grabbed one. There's still one available as I'm replying this, so grab it now. It's a great book. Thanks Darotower! I'm really loving it.
  7. Arcadia 1/60 YF-19 - Y26000-Y28000 - Roughly $234-$252. Those prices are from Mandarake and all are opened. No shipping yet. Yamato 1/60 VF-1S TV 30th Anniversary - Based on YJA the last one sold cost at Y15502 ($140). That's without proxy and shipping cost yet. Yamato 1/60 VF-1 Super & Strike Parts 30th Anniversary - Based on Jungle's postings it's Y14040 ($126). However, the recent (7/21) one sold at YJA bidding is Y7750 ($70). And again, those doesn't include proxy and shipping yet. Hope that helps.
  8. Did someone says blue chrome? You got it, buddy!

Google Translate: Release as two body set. In text description, '体' is always meant as body or figure. They always refer it to the main figure itself. So if the translation is right and for the price posted, it's safe to assume it will come with two figures.
  10. I only bought this set for the TV Super Packs for the HMR's TV VF-1J. To be honest, this toy is so small for my hands. Hope the upcoming VF-2SS is better. I will probably repaint those yellows to red.

Good to see that the figure is not broken. Tamashii stands pegs and connectors is really thin, small and fragile to use for big figures. They should've used a sturdy ones.
  12. Because? Did you bought the regular one or Premium?
  13. If you have the extra moolah, why not?
  14. Ooooh. White Landing Gears. Great job Lolicon!
  15. True. But I welcome it even though that it's too soon for them to release it. (Was still wishing that it will next year.) Before I used to wish I have one of those old Takatoku ones when I saw a hands-on display one in a Japanese mall back in the Summer of 1984 (DYRL movie). And I really like the spring action on the arm to launch the Valkyries. But back then, I couldn't just ask my parents to buy me an expensive toy. So knowing that this DYRL Version will get re-release again, I'm going to make sure I will get an SDF-1 in that same size no matter what. It's better to get it in MSRP rather than $800+ nowadays for the Yamato one.
  16. I checked the ToyArk link and I didn't like their Hot Toys Gal Gadot figure. Doesn't look like her.
  17. November. But seriously... ...my saifu needs a breather.
  18. Play Arts Kai Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Cloud and Fenrir ver.2 at SDCC17. Why do I get the feeling this will cost more than the Play Arts Kai Shiva Figure? Probably around Y36000?
  19. No worries. I'm doing the same thing too. I'm saving as much by choosing the cheapest shipping option as possible until that lost package happened. So lesson learned for me.
  20. Yeah. Not to mention the broken bow cannon so you we have the option which one to display.
  21. Thanks also for sharing that info, wmkjr. I already split my packages at HLJ just to get the whole insurance coverage. Not going to risk anymore shipping a $280 toy using Registered SAL. Lesseon learned, sir. Lesson learned.
  22. I agree. This is absolutely true. And, you get to support fellow MacrossWorld member.
  23. Wow! How big is the box, Anubis? Is it the same as Figuarts Chogokin Hulkbuster?
